Josh Bellamy charged for role in $24 million COVID-relief scam.
Bellamy was released yesterday, and this is an unfortunate situation at a time when people all around the country are hurting financially. Of course, Bellamy is innocent until proven guilty, but he isn't on the fantasy radar and is unlikely to reappear in 2020.
The Jets are placing Josh Bellamy on the reserve/PUP list, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Bellamy was placed on injured reserve last November with a shoulder injury, and this move means he won't be suiting up for New York in the fall. Turning 31 in a couple of weeks, Bellamy will hope to make a full recovery soon—but he will need to be released by the Jets to play in 2020.
