WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 17.

It will be another missed game for New York’s first-round pick, and the team hasn’t been able to get an extended look at him despite a monster 189-yard performance earlier this season. We’ll see if Toney is able to give it a go in Week 18 to build some momentum ahead of the offseason.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (oblique) is officially active for Week 16.

Toney hasn’t played since November 22, and the Giants are hoping he provides a spark to the offense in his return. With Jake Fromm making his first career start, we’d say Toney gets a boost due to his run-after-catch skillset being a good fit with the second-year quarterback, and Philadelphia can be vulnerable over the middle of the field. Consider the rookie an upside FLEX that has his floor elevated some without Sterling Shepard (Achilles).

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

The Giants activated Kadarius Toney from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Toney was placed on the list over a week ago, and he's now cleared to return to the team. However, Toney is still dealing with the quad issue and remains uncertain for Week 16.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

It's been a tough few weeks for Toney, who tests positive for the virus after dealing with quad and oblique injuries the past few weeks. Overall, the rookie receiver is looking unlikely for Week 15, but hopefully he's taken off the COVID list soon.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (oblique) has been ruled out for Week 14.

Toney is only listed with the oblique, so at least it appears he's over the quad issue. But the dynamic rookie receiver will miss his third consecutive game.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (oblique/quad) is officially inactive against the Dolphins.

Toney will miss his second consecutive game. The rookie receiver is dealing with both oblique and quad issues, so we’ll see if he’s able to get closer to playing in Week 14.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (oblique/quad) is doubtful for Week 13.

Toney is set to miss his second consecutive game due to the quad and oblique issues, and the rookie receiver can probably be considered week-to-week for now.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (quad) is officially inactive for the Giants.

The electric rookie receiver is out for the Week 12 matchup against the Eagles after being listed as doubtful entering the weekend. Hopefully Toney is able to get back on the field soon.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (quad) is doubtful for Sunday's game agains the Eagles.

Sterling Shepard (quad) has already been ruled out, so if Toney is also inactive, the team will have to count on Darius Slayton as the No. 2 wideout behind Kenny Golladay with John Ross and others also seeing an increase in snaps. Toney has unfortunately been banged up and hasn't produced big numbers since his breakout game back in Week 5.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (thumb) has returned for the Giants.

Toney was in the locker room but he ran back out out the tunnel and is back in there in the fourth quarter of the Monday night matchup at Kansas City. Toney didn’t miss any offensive series while he was getting checked out with the Giants on defense.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (thumb) is officially questionable to return for the Giants.

Toney was in obvious discomfort with his hand while on the Giants sideline, and it’s officially being called a thumb injury. We’ll see if the rookie receiver is able to return here in the fourth quarter.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (ankle) is officially active for Monday night.

Toney looked good in practice this week and is back in the lineup for the Giants against a Chiefs team they might need to put up some points against. The rookie receiver is on the FLEX radar to close out Week 8 tonight.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (ankle) is questionable for Monday night.

Toney looked good in practice from what we saw, and he's expected to give it a go against the Chiefs. That said you should have a backup plan for Toney from the Monday night game if you plan to use him in your Week 8 fantasy lineup.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (ankle) has officially been ruled out for Week 7.

The first-round rookie receiver can be considered week-to-week for now, but hopefully he only misses this one game with the ankle injury after leaving early last week.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

Kadarius Toney (ankle) has been ruled out for the rest of today with an ankle injury.

This is really unfortunate for the rookie coming off a very strong ten-catch, 189-yard performance last week. The Giants continue to get killed by injury this season, but hopefully Toney doesn't miss much more time after today.

Kadarius Toney | Giants WR

The Giants have selected Florida wide receiver Kadarius Toney with the No. 20 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Toney only had one season of big-time production for the Gators, but he is a versatile, creative, and tough weapon that can not only do damage underneath, but also stretch the defense vertically. With the Giants, Toney should slide right in as a strong complementary option to Kenny Golladay and company in a role that best fits his skillset and playing style. The bottom line is the former high school quarterback is a playmaker that can be a home-run hitter with the ball in his hands. To start his career, we think he might be a better real-life contributor than fantasy option, though it will be interesting to see what kind of plan New York has for him. The full scouting report for Toney can be read in the link below.
