WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Lynn Bowden Jr. | Dolphins RB

Lynn Bowden Jr. has been placed on injured reserve.

The season is now over for Bowden, who was fighting to earn one of the final wide receiver spots in a very crowded room for Miami. A third-round pick of the Raiders just last year, Bowden could face longer odds at cracking the Dolphins' 53-man roster next summer, but his versatility will be something teams always covet. Bowden will turn 24 in October.

The Dolphins have removed Lynn Bowden Jr. from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Bowden Jr. hasn't had a substantial role so far for Miami, but it will be interesting to see if the trade of Isaiah Ford (to NE) and injuries to Myles Gaskin (knee) and Preston Williams (foot) might change things. For now, the versatile rookie can stay on the waiver wire in redraft leagues.

The Dolphins have placed Lynn Bowden Jr. on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Bowden Jr. could have potentially been looking at an increased role with Isaiah Ford now in New England, but that will have to wait. The rookie is only worth considering as a stash in very deep formats.

The Raiders are trading Lynn Bowden Jr. to the Dolphins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Bowden Jr. was just drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but Las Vegas must not have liked the fit and are sending him to Miami (along with a sixth-round pick) in exchange for a fourth-round pick. There were some possible character concerns for the versatile rookie coming out of Kentucky, so it'd be interesting to know if something happened that caused the Raiders to make this move. Bowden Jr. will settle in behind Jordan Howard and Matt Breida.

The Raiders have selected Lynn Bowden Jr. with the No. 80 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Bowden was a do-it-all athlete for Kentucky that did everything from catch passes to play quarterback, so Jon Gruden certainly has the gears going about how to use him. He was announced as a running back, but Bowden is expected to essentially be an offensive weapon, which could mean more real-life value than fantasy value.
