WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Michael Pittman Jr. | Colts WR

The Colts officially activated Michael Pittman Jr. (leg) from injured reserve.

This was expected, and the rookie receiver will be back in the lineup tomorrow against the Lions as the Colts come off the bye. Pittman had missed the previous three games with his leg issue.

The Colts activated Michael Pittman Jr.'s 21-day practice window.

Pittman has been out since he suffered his scary leg injury in Week 3, and it sounds like he should be back on the active roster soon. Pittman has 21 days to be added to the 53-man roster or revert back to injured reserve for the remainder of the season. The Colts appear to be getting healthier following their bye week.

Michael Pittman had surgery for compartment leg syndrome, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says that he is expected back after the team's Week 7 bye, so look for Indy to place him on IR at some point. Compartment leg syndrome is a very rare injury, but it's good news that Pittman got it taken care of and won't be facing too long of an absence. The rookie probably won't be back on the field until November and can be dropped in redraft leagues.

Michael Pittman Jr. (toe) is officially active for Week 2.

Pittman’s toe injury popped up during the week, so it’s a slight surprise that he’s active. The rookie’s presence should be a boost for the Colts in real life, but he carries a low floor in fantasy lineups.

Michael Pittman Jr. (toe) likely to be a game-time call.

Pittman had an "incident" with his toe in yesterday's practice, and his Week 2 status is now in question. The good news is the Colts kickoff at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, so the rookie's official game status will be known that morning.

Michael Pittman Jr. | Colts WR

The Colts have selected USC wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Pittman Jr. seemed to become a favorite of many late in the pre-draft process, and he lands in a great spot early on Day 2 in Indianapolis. The Colts have said that they want to add weapons to the outside, and the USC product will now get an opportunity to catch passes from veteran quarterback Philip Rivers with a chance to become an immediate No. 2 option behind T.Y. Hilton. While it’s not crazy to think Pittman Jr. can work his way up to mid-round consideration with a strong summer, we are higher on some of the other second- and third-tier wideouts in dynasty leagues.
