WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Mike White | Jets QB

Mike White was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

White and Joe Flacco have both been placed on the COVID list, so hopefully this is just limited to them and doesn't spread too much throughout the team. Zach Wilson (knee) looks like he might be back in the starting lineup this week for the Jets.

Mike White | Jets QB

The Jets will start Mike White in Week 10.

White is good to go after the forearm injury knocked him out of the game early last Thursday night, and he's drawing the start as the Jets look to ensure rookie Zach Wilson (knee) gets back to 100%. Also, White has played very well for New York and pretty much deserves an opportunity to start again, so we'll see him out there against a tough Bills team on Sunday.

Mike White | Jets QB

Mike White is out of the game for the Jets.

White suffered an apparent wrist/forearm injury on the last drive for the Jets, but he stayed in there and threw a touchdown pass to Elijah Moore. It appears the adrenaline might have worn off, as he went to the sideline and is now having trouble throwing the ball. This is really unfortunate, but White is trying to get loose while throwing the ball and hopefully can return tonight against the Colts. Veteran Josh Johnson is now in for the Jets early in the second quarter.

Mike White | Jets QB

Mike White has been elevated from the practice squad.

White will backup Joe Flacco with Sam Darnold (shoulder) out, but New York will obviously hope the former Super Bowl MVP stays healthy and plays well against the Cardinals.

Mike White | Jets QB

The Jets re-signed Mike White to the practice squad.

White is back with the Jets after getting released last week, and he might step back into the backup quarterback spot if Sam Darnold is unable to play through his right shoulder injury.

Mike White | Jets QB

The Jets released Mike White.

White is being released to make room for Joe Flacco on the active roster, but there's probably a good chance the Jets bring White back on the practice squad soon.

Mike White | Jets QB

The Jets promoted Mike White to the active roster.

White having experience over rookie James Morgan could make him Sam Darnold's backup on Sunday. New York is hoping to have Joe Flacco (back) healthy early in the year.

Mike White | Jets QB

The Cowboys have selected Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White with the 171st pick (fifth round) of the 2018 NFL Draft.

White is one of our favorite quarterbacks in the draft, and he could wind up being an absolute steal as a top-end backup with starter potential behind Dak Prescott. The small-school star has a big arm and is very accurate at all levels of the field, but struggled at times in 2017 because of poor offensive line play, which shouldn't be the case in Dallas. He obviously isn't a fantasy option right now, but White is undoubtedly a name to keep an eye on in the future.
