Quintez Cephus suffered a broken collarbone.
Cephus is obviously headed to injured reserve and will miss several weeks. The Wisconsin product has stepped up and become an explosive target for Jared Goff and the Lions passing attack in need of weapons on the outside, so this is a tough blow to Detroit. Hopefully Cephus is feeling better soon and can return later this season.

The Lions have selected Wisconsin wide receiver Quintez Cephus with the No. 166 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Cephus was dinged by a slow 40 time at the Combine, but he's a very tough receiver that played great in the Big Ten, so he may end up outplaying this draft position. In Detroit, the Wisconsin product will try to earn a role behind Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, and Danny Amendola with a real shot to earn the future slot role. Consider him a dynasty prospect for now.
