WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

The Broncos are signing Tim Patrick to a three-year extension.

The deal is reportedly worth up to $34.5 million, which is a very nice chunk of change for the former undrafted free agent. Denver has a strong room at wide receiver with Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, and K.J. Hamler (coming off a torn ACL), so they are clearly very high on Patrick and believe he's still an ascending player with this extension. At 5-5, Denver will be hoping Patrick helps them make a playoff push following the bye.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick plays well in Week 11.

In his first game since Week 1 after spending the last several weeks on injured reserve with a knee injury, Patrick caught four passes for 77 yards in the Broncos' close loss at Minnesota. Patrick was briefly out of the game because of a shoulder issue, but he was very much involved opposite Courtland Sutton when in the game. DaeSean Hamilton (no receptions) was dealing with a knee issue entering the game, but it appears Patrick is clearly the No. 2 receiver for Denver at the moment. Patrick is not a must-own in redraft leagues, but he's someone to keep an eye on.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick (shoulder) has returned for the Broncos.

It's good to see Patrick back in the game after he went to the locker room for his shoulder issue earlier. Patrick is getting a good amount of playing time in his first game off injured reserve.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick (shoulder) is questionable to return for the Broncos.

Patrick was carted to the locker room, so it obviously doesn’t look good for him. This is a shame for Patrick after he just got off injured reserve with a knee injury, but hopefully this injury isn’t as bad as it looks.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

The Broncos are activated Tim Patrick from injured reserve.

Patrick could return some fantasy value with Emmanuel Sanders now in San Francisco, but he's not a recommended fantasy pickup in redraft leagues.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick will miss time with a broken hand.

Denver's fourth receiver (and a core special-teamer) will hopefully not miss the remainder of the season, but he could be a candidate for injured reserve. Patrick didn't catch a pass in Monday night's loss to Oakland.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick catches four passes against the Chargers.

Patrick gained 48 yards on his four receptions and lost a fumble in the Broncos' Week 17 loss. Patrick's season ends with 23 receptions for 315 yards and one touchdown along with three carries for 17 yards. If Emmanuel Sanders isn't ready for the start of next season or isn't back in Denver, Patrick could be a starter with Courtland Sutton and DaeSean Hamilton.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick caught three passes for 44 yards in Monday night's loss to Oakland.

He also rushed once for a loss of seven yards. Patrick has emerged as the team's No. 3 receiver down the stretch, but he can stay on the waiver wire for the season finale.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick leads the Broncos in Week 15 receiving.

Patrick caught five passes (on eight targets) for 65 yards, with a long of 24 yards, against the Browns. On the broadcast, Kurt Warner notably said that Case Keenum told him he's comfortable throwing to Patrick, which is a good sign for his outlook the final two games of the season. He'll be in the FLEX mix for deeper leagues in Week 16.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick leads the Broncos in Week 14 receiving.

Patrick caught seven passes (on a team-high ten targets) for 85 yards along with one carry for 11 yards against the Niners. This was a strong showing in the team's first game without Emmanuel Sanders (torn Achilles), and Patrick is someone to keep an eye on moving forward. He's worth a look as an add if you're struggling at wide receiver in deeper leagues.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick held without a catch in win over the Chargers.

Patrick was targeted once, but it looks like he will operate as the team's No. 4 receiver down the stretch with DaeSean Hamilton back in the lineup. He won't be a recommended fantasy option next week against the Steelers.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick caught one pass in Sunday's loss.

It went for 17 yards, but Patrick saw four targets as Denver's No. 3 receiver. Fourth-round pick DaeSean Hamilton (knee) should be back after the team's Week 10 bye, though, so Patrick probably won't have much fantasy value down the stretch if everyone stays healthy.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick catches first career touchdown in Week 8.

Patrick got wide-open in the end zone for a 24-yard touchdown on his lone target of the day for the Broncos, and he also added a 13-yard carry on his lone rushing attempt. It was the third career reception for the rookie receiver, so he's off the fantasy radar for now, but congrats to him on his first NFL score.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick catches one pass in Broncos' loss.

Patrick gained six yards on his lone Week 5 reception. He's not on the fantasy radar at the moment.

Tim Patrick | Broncos WR

Tim Patrick catches one pass in Week 2.

Patrick had a big 26-yard reception against the Raiders, the first catch of his NFL career. He’s not on the fantasy radar, but congratulations to Patrick on his first reception.
