WOLF SPORTS PROJECTION

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

The Buccaneers officially placed T.J. Logan on injured reserve.

Logan suffered a patella tendon injury, and his season is now officially over. Logan was looking to carve out a role in an elite Bucs offense, but he'll turn just 26 years old next month and is familiarity with Bruce Arians, so that's a potential plus going into 2021.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

T.J. Logan handles five touches in loss to the Falcons.

Logan rushed once for a loss of three yards and caught four passes for 18 yards. The North Carolina product isn't a recommended fantasy option.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

T.J. Logan gets one carry in Week 13.

Logan gained five yards on his lone rushing attempt against the Packers. This was Logan's first carry of the season, and he's not currently a fantasy option.

T.J. Logan catches five-yard pass in Week 12 loss.

It was his only look of the game. Logan isn’t a recommended fantasy option as Arizona’s No. 3 running back.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

T.J. Logan catches two passes against the Chiefs.

Logan gained 14 yards on his two receptions. These were the speedy running back's first two offensive touches of the season, so he's not on the fantasy radar right now. He'll look to make an impact for the Cardinals as he looks to get more touches moving forward, though.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

T.J. Logan is out for 12 weeks, head coach Bruce Arians announced.

It turns out the wrist injury to the rookie running back is a dislocated wrist that he'll need surgery on. He'll be placed on IR, but it's possible he's one of the players that's brought off IR (remember: a rule change passed allowing two players (it was previously one) to come off IR as designated to return players). Logan was looking like he might be the primary return man for the Cardinals this season, but now J.J. Nelson, John Brown, and others are likely to fill the role. All-Pro Patrick Peterson returned 13 punts last season (a career low), but he'll probably be used back there some again this season.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

T.J. Logan leaves HOF Game with a wrist injury.

Logan had four carries for 24 yards and showed he was comfortable on returns, taking a kick 43 yards and returning a punt for ten yards. The fifth-round rookie left the game with a wrist injury on his final carry, and Bruce Arians says the team's fingers are crossed that it isn't a serious.

T.J. Logan | Buccaneers RB

The Arizona Cardinals select North Carolina running back T.J. Logan with the 179th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Logan is a super fast running back that ran a 4.37 40-yard dash. Logan contributed all four years at UNC, rushing for at least 400 yards in each season and working as a kick returner. As a senior, Logan rushed for 650 yards and seven touchdowns, along with 29 catches for 244 yards and three receiving touchdowns. Throughout his career, Logan had five return touchdowns. Logan should be able to step right in as a kick returner for Arizona, and he will probably mix in at times behind workhorse David Johnson.
