The Steelers signed Trey Griffey to the practice squad.
This is a good spot for Griffey, remaining in Pittsburgh on the practice squad. He'll get more solid practice experience behind one of the most talented receiving corps in the NFL.

The Steelers waived Trey Griffey.
Griffey had a tough task trying to make Pittsburgh’s stacked receiving room. The athletic son of Ken Griffey Jr. will receive interest from other teams.

The Steelers signed wide receiver Trey Griffey.
Griffey is the son of Hall of Fame outfielder Ken Griffey Jr., and he was undrafted last year before being on a couple of teams throughout the year. Pittsburgh has a deep receiving group, but Eli Rogers is set to become a free agent, and there could be other moving parts. Griffey should have a real shot to make the final roster if he gets an opportunity in the spring and summer.

The Dolphins are signing receiver Trey Griffey, according to Adam Schefter.
Griffey, who spent time with the Colts earlier this offseason as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona, is the son of MLB Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. He's an athletic player looking to crack the 53-man roster or practice squad for the Dolphins.

Undrafted Arizona receiver Trey Griffey, the son of Hall of Fame MLB player Ken Griffey, Jr., is signing with the Colts.
Griffey was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 24th round of the 2016 MLB Draft, but he wants to play football and continued playing at Arizona for his senior season when he caught 23 passes for 382 yards and two touchdowns. Griffey, as you might expect, is a very good athlete. While his production was not great in college, he has a chance to at least start out as a practice squad player in 2017.
