‘College Football 25’: Top Offenses & Defenses

EA Sports revealed quite a bit of information about College Football 25 over the past few days, and we are exactly three weeks away from the worldwide release of the highly anticipated game (July 19, or earlier on July 16 for those who pre-order).

The team ratings on offense and defense were something fans have been most excited about, and below are the top ten offenses and defenses in CFB 25.

Offense

1. Georgia (94 OVR)

2. Oregon (94 OVR)

3. Alabama (91 OVR)

4. Texas (91 OVR)

5. Ohio State (89 OVR)

6. LSU (89 OVR)

7. Miami (89 OVR)

8. Colorado (89 OVR)

9. Missouri (89 OVR)

10. Clemson (87 OVR)

Defense

1. Ohio State (96 OVR)

2. Georgia (94 OVR)

3. Oregon (90 OVR)

4. Alabama (90 OVR)

5. Clemson (90 OVR)

6. Notre Dame (90 OVR)

7. Michigan (90 OVR)

8. Texas (88 OVR)

9. Penn State (88 OVR)

10. Utah (88 OVR)

The complete top 25 rankings can be viewed here, and it’s interesting that EA decided to balance things out by not having any unit reach the high 90s—with Ohio State’s defense being the only group above 95 overall. Player ratings will be very interesting to see, though it’s unclear if we will get an early look at them before release day.

‘College Football 25’ releases on July 19, and you can pre-order the game here.
