The real-life college football season is still just under three months away, but gamers will only need to wait a little bit longer to step into the virtual gridiron—as EA Sports College Football 27 will be released worldwide on Thursday, July 9.
Today, the cover athletes were revealed with dynamic Miami wide receiver Malachi Toney, star Oregon quarterback Dante Moore, and standout Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy featured on the cover of the Standard edition. On the Deluxe edition, the three are joined by USC quarterback Jayden Maiava, Texas linebacker Colin Simmons, and Notre Dame cornerback Leonard Moore—plus Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti as he comes off a historic national championship.

Full details about the game will be revealed on Thursday, June 4 at 8 PM ET on the Madden YouTube channel, which will be a joint reveal with details about Madden 27. As fireworks fill the air this summer, football fans will soon be able to create fireworks of their own on CFB 27.
‘EA Sports College Football 27’ will release worldwide on July 9, and EA Play members can play with early access starting on July 2.
