Join now >The Lions have selected Georgia tight end Isaac Nauta in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Nauta put up respectable numbers (30/430/3) for a loaded Georgia offense in 2018, but he doesn’t look to be in a great spot in regard to his NFL fantasy value after Detroit selected Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson with the No. 8 overall pick on Thursday night. For now, Nauta can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

The Bears have selected Florida Atlantic running back Kerrith Whyte Jr. in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Whyte wasn’t featured as a runner behind Devin Singletary at FAU, but he is a very explosive player with sub-4.4 speed that can also make a huge impact in the return game. The Bears are suddenly loaded up at running back with third-rounder David Montgomery drafted last night to join Tarik Cohen and Mike Davis, so Whyte will likely be a better real-life threat than fantasy option to start his career.

The Texans have selected Texas A&M fullback Cullen Gillaspia in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Gillaspia was the heart and soul of Texas A&M for the past three years, and if he earns a roster spot, he could play a variety of roles on offense and special teams for Houston. Fantasy owners probably don’t need to worry about having Gillaspia on their radar right now.

The Cowboys have selected Ohio State running back Mike Weber in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Weber joins fellow Buckeye Ezekiel Elliott with the Cowboys, and he’ll certainly have a chance to carve out the top backup role in Dallas in 2019 and beyond. As a freshman at Ohio State, Weber rushed for 1,096 yards and nine touchdowns, but then his role decreased slightly the next two seasons while in a timeshare with talented runner J.K. Dobbins. Weber opted to forego his senior season, and now he’ll look to earn his role at the next level.

The Chiefs have selected Utah State running back Darwin Thompson in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Thompson is a smaller back at five-foot-eight, but this is certainly an exciting landing spot with Andy Reid getting his hands on him. In his lone season at Utah State, Thompson was a 1,000-yard runner, and he also showed well in the passing game with 15.3 yards per reception on 23 grabs. He isn’t currently on the redraft radar, but savvy dynasty owners should keep tabs on Thompson.

The Bengals have selected Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Injuries unfortunately plagued Anderson’s college career, with both his freshman and junior seasons ending after just two games. When he worked his way into the No. 1 back for Oklahoma during the 2017 season, he was one of the best players in the nation while starting the final seven games of the year, rushing for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns—along with 281 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns on 16.5 yards per reception—on the campaign. Anderson is a big back at six-foot and about 225 pounds, but he moves and catches the ball well—that durability is probably the big reason he’s going so late, and the Bengals probably feel he was too good of a value to pass up at this point, even after drafting Trayveon Williams earlier today. Anderson could’ve returned to school to potentially build his draft stock into an early Day 2 pick (or higher) in 2020, but he’ll now look to work his way up the depth chart in Cincinnati.

The Buccaneers have selected Bowling Green wide receiver Scott Miller in the sixth-round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Miller is an undersized receiver, but he’s a very fast player and was productive in the MAC for three seasons, including watching ten touchdowns as a sophomore and a career-best 71/1,148/9 line as a senior. Miller has a chance to immediately win a nice role as at least a situational deep threat that can clear things out in Bruce Arians offense, and it helps that Arians loves speed.
