Marrone said there is "no doubt" Bortles improved and they are still working on a few things, but "building into OTAs." Specifically, Marrone is talking about Bortles throwing motion. Bortles has been working to make his throwing motion quicker and more compact this offseason. Recovered from both his shoulder injuries from last season along with hopeful improvements to his throwing mechanics, Bortles will try to bounce back after he took a step back last season.

Lions head coach Jim Caldwell said yesterday that tight end Eric Ebron "just keeps getting better."
Caldwell said Ebron has improved each year and if he keeps progressing he'll have "a pretty outstanding season." Ebron had 61 receptions for 711 yards, but only one touchdown last season. Ebron offers good upside late in fantasy drafts as a backend TE1.

Raiders seventh round running back Elijah Hood "turned heads of the offensive staff" at rookie minicamp, according to MMQB's Albert Breer.
Hood is out of North Carolina and wasn't drafted until the seventh round likely because a decrease in carries as a junior. The Raiders might have gotten a steal, as Hood produces. As a true sophomore, Hood ran for over 1,400 yards and 17 touchdowns and looked like a potential Day 2 pick in the draft. Hood is looking like a good bet to make the team, and he could take over for Marshawn Lynch as the lead back when Lynch retires. This season, he might be the primary backup for Lynch, although second-year backs Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington are also in the mix and received a good amount of playing time as rookies last season.

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said Marcus Mariota is still not running full speed.
This isn’t too much of a concern. They are just taking it slow with their young franchise quarterback. Mariota is almost certain to be 100% for training camp at the latest.

Cardinals offensive coordinator Harold Goodwin says the Cardinals hope rookie receiver Chad Williams can be the successor to Larry Fitzgerald.
Goodwin says eventually Fitzgerald will retire and they "talk about somebody that can carry the torch. This is the guys that everybody thinks can do that." Arizona has very lofty expectations for Goodwin, who has very good size and athleticism at receiver. He might not make a huge impact this season, but he has the potential to be a future star. The Cardinals have had some very good success in the draft, including All-Pro running back David Johnson a couple of years ago in the draft.
