Adam Thielen | Panthers WR

Adam Thielen catches two passes in Week 15.

Thielen gained 19 yards on his two receptions against the Dolphins. He was targeted just two times in the game, setting season-lows across the board. This obviously came at a bad time for fantasy owners with Thielen on their playoff rosters, but a decrease in volume for Minnesota’s passing attack put a dent in the pass-game production for the Vikings. Thielen will look to bounce back with a stronger individual performance in Week 16, but he has a tough matchup against a Lions team that limited him to a 4/22/1 line in their first matchup this season.

Zach Ertz | Commanders TE

Zach Ertz catches three passes against the Rams.

Ertz gained 22 yards on his three Week 15 receptions. There was an obvious change in quarterback style of play with Nick Foles starting for an injured Carson Wentz, and it harmed Ertz’s production, at least for this first game. Wentz would lock on to Ertz about as much as any quarterback would lock onto anyone in the league, so that’s changed with Foles under-center. The star tight end was targeted on a throw in the red zone that might’ve been a touchdown if not for Aqib Talib coming off his man and making a nice play by stepping in front of the pass to intercept it. Despite a relatively quiet performance for Ertz, he became the first Eagle to hit 100 receptions in a season. With 101 receptions and two games to go, his chances of breaking Jason Witten’s single-season mark (110) look to be in jeopardy, but he’ll attempt to have a bigger individual game next week against Houston.

Josh Rosen | Free Agent QB

Josh Rosen struggles again as Cardinals get blown out in Atlanta, 40-14.

Rosen was 13/22 for 132 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions, also adding two carries for eight yards. Arizona jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, but Rosen threw a pick-six to Deion Jones on the following possession, and it was all Falcons after that until a late touchdown pass by Mike Glennon in garbage time. Overall, the performance was another concerning one for Rosen against a very beatable Atlanta defense, and he will now have a couple imposing matchups (v LAR, @ SEA) to close out his rookie campaign.

12/17/18 - 08:47 AM ET

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks contained in Week 15 loss.

Cooks caught six-of-seven targets for 59 yards. It felt like the dynamic deep threat had more yardage than he did, but Philly mostly limited him to shorter passes on the boundary and came up to tackle him immediately. Cooks will draw Patrick Peterson’s coverage next week in Arizona, so even if the Los Angeles passing attack finally regains form, he is probably best viewed on the WR2 side of the WR1/WR2 borderline.

12/17/18 - 12:59 PM ET

Kyle Rudolph | Retired TE

Kyle Rudolph catches three passes in Week 15.

Rudolph gained 23 yards on his three receptions in the Vikings’ win over the Dolphins. Tyler Conklin (two receptions, 53 yards) did most of the damage in a good matchup for Minnesota’s tight ends. Rudolph hasn’t had a highly productive season statistically, but it’d be fitting if he score a couple days before Christmas next weekend, given his name.

12/17/18 - 08:46 AM ET

Josh Reynolds | Jets WR

Josh Reynolds caught five passes for 70 yards in Sunday night’s loss to the Eagles.

Reynolds actually led all wide receivers with 12 targets, but Philly’s defense made things tough on Jared Goff and the offense. The final play of the game was a jump ball to Reynolds that fell incomplete. Fortunately, the Cardinals should be a great opponent to bounce back against in Week 16, so Reynolds will remain a solid FLEX in the fantasy championship.

12/17/18 - 12:57 PM ET

Aldrick Robinson | Free Agent WR

Aldrick Robinson catches long touchdown in Week 15.

Robinson caught a 40-yard strike down the field from Kirk Cousins, and overall he had two receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. The veteran receiver doesn’t get enough weekly targets to be a reliable fantasy option, so he’s a risky play in fantasy finals.
