Robert Woods | Steelers WR

Robert Woods catches seven passes against the Bears.

Woods gained 61 yards on his seven receptions (13 targets) in the Rams’ Week 14 loss. He was one of the bright spots for the Rams offense in the game, and this was a solid showing considering the team struggled to get much going throughout the night. Woods crossed 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career, and he’s really been excellent since arriving to LA; congrats to him on the feat. Woods should be a high-floor option with a lot of upside in a great matchup with the Eagles for the second week of the fantasy playoffs.

Courtland Sutton | Broncos WR

Courtland Sutton catches five passes in Broncos’ loss.

Sutton gained 42 yards on his five receptions in the Saturday night loss to the Browns. Early in the game, Sutton drew a pass interference call on a deep ball to the end zone, which set up the Broncos’ only touchdown of the game; on the play, he appeared to be limping a bit because of the quad injury he had been dealing with, but he didn’t appear affected by it the rest of the game. He was later targeted on another deep ball to the end zone, but it was slightly underthrown and intercepted. It wasn’t a hugely productive night for the rookie receiver, but it was still good to see him get more targets down the field. He’ll look to make a big play or two on Christmas Eve against the Raiders.

Justin Davis | Free Agent RB

Justin Davis gets one carry in Week 14.

On the final play of the game, Davis received a carry that he took for 19 yards against a soft defense. This could indicate Davis is the top handcuff to Todd Gurley with Malcolm Brown (clavicle) out.

12/10/18 - 02:04 PM ET

Breshad Perriman | Free Agent WR

Breshad Perriman catches 31-yard touchdown in win over the Broncos.

It came on the game’s opening possession and was his only catch of the game. Perriman certainly has big-play ability that could show up in any given week, but fantasy owners should look elsewhere for the final two games of the year.

12/15/18 - 11:46 PM ET

Todd Gurley | Free Agent RB

Todd Gurley gets 14 touches against the Bears.

Gurley carried 11 times for 28 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards in the Rams’ Week 14 loss. The Bears did an excellent job of limiting Gurley, but he still ideally would get more than the 14 touches he received in the game. Look for the superstar running back to bounce back next Sunday night against the Eagles.

12/10/18 - 02:03 PM ET

Antonio Callaway | Free Agent WR

Antonio Callaway scores in win over the Broncos.

Callaway caught five passes for 35 yards, including the go-ahead touchdown from 11 yards away. The rookie was benched for a little following a dumb taunting penalty, but he made up for it in a huge win, as the Browns are now 6-7-1. Callaway will be a volatile FLEX option that probably isn’t worth considering in 10- or 12-team leagues for the fantasy championship.

12/15/18 - 11:45 PM ET

Jared Goff | Lions QB

Jared Goff throws four interceptions in Rams’ loss.

Goff was 20/44 for 180 yards and four interceptions along with one carry for five yards against the Bears. One interception came on a Hail Mary attempt at the end of the first half, and another came when his offensive lineman was pushed back into him as he tried to make a throw, so he didn’t play quite as bad as the stats indicate. However, it was probably his worst game the last two seasons. The offense didn’t help him much, though, as he was under constant pressure all night, which would have made it difficult for any quarterback to have success; also the Rams didn’t run the ball well and didn’t commit to the run, which didn’t help. This obviously wasn’t ideal for fantasy owners in the first week of the playoffs, but he’ll look to make up for it with a big performance next Sunday night against the Eagles, who just gave up 455 passing yards to Dak Prescott. You shouldn’t shy away from Goff as a QB1 in Week 15.
