Chris Carson (finger) did not return against the Niners.

Seattle was up big, so it’s not a surprise that Carson didn’t return to the game. He had 13 carries for 69 yards and three receptions for 39 yards before leaving the Week 13 victory. We expect he’ll be fine moving forward, but his status might need to be tracked this week. Assuming he’s ready to go, Carson has a tough matchup against the Vikings in the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

Matt Breida (ankle) did not return against the Seahawks.

Breida had five carries for seven yards and three receptions for 51 yards before leaving the Niners’ Week 13 loss. “Wolverine” has played through many injuries this season, so we expect he’ll play through this ailment; but he looks like a risky fantasy option for the first week of the fantasy playoffs at less than 100%. It’s also worth considering Jeff Wilson got 23 touches and played well in today’s game, and he looks to have a sizable role moving forward.

Carson is headed to the locker room, and it might be unlikely he returns in a 21-point game in the fourth quarter. We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

Tyrell Williams (quadricep) is active against the Steelers.

Williams is again battling through his quad injury, but he’s difficult to trust in Week 13 fantasy lineups at likely less than 100%. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are the preferred fantasy options among Chargers receivers.

Matt Breida leaves game with apparent leg injury.

Breida has dealt with a plethora of injuries this season, and it’s unclear if this is an aggravation of a previous injury or a new one. Breida was limping pretty badly on the sideline, but he’s shown extreme toughness throughout the year. We’ll see if he can return to the game.

Jeff Wilson (foot) has returned for the Niners.

Wilson is back in the game to start the second half, and it’ll be interesting to see the type of workload he gets after ten touches in the first half.
