Matt LaCosse catches first career touchdown in Broncos’ win.

LaCosse caught three passes for 34 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers, with the score coming on a ten-yarder where he caught the ball and turn up the field and into the end zone. Congrats to LaCosse on his first NFL touchdown. For fantasy purposes, he isn’t an advisable option right now.

Kenyan Drake goes for 96 yards and two scores in loss to the Colts.

Drake rushed eight times for 32 yards and a touchdown, also adding five receptions for 64 yards and another score through the air. The first trip to the end zone came on a 33-yard catch-and-run on the game’s opening drive, and Drake found it again from 14 yards away on a second-half run up the middle. Frank Gore continues to operate as the early-down runner for Adam Gase’s offense, but Drake is the clear back to own, and his big-play ability makes him a low-end RB2/FLEX option down the stretch, including next week against Buffalo.

Jeff Heuerman catches two passes in Week 12.

Heuerman gained 44 yards on his two receptions versus Pittsburgh, with the receptions going for 29 and 15 yards. Heuerman is playing well for the Broncos, so he’s in the TE1 mix in a great matchup against the Bengals in Week 13.

Frank Gore handles 15 touches in Week 12 loss.

Gore rushed 14 times for 67 yards, also adding a ten-yard reception. It was another solid game by the 35-year-old, but Kenyan Drake was the standout performer with 96 yards and two touchdowns on just 13 touches. Gore should remain the early-down option for Adam Gase’s offense, but Drake will again be the preferred fantasy play in Week 13 against the Bills.

Emmanuel Sanders scores against the Steelers.

Sanders was targeted 12 times in the Broncos’ Week 12 victory, catching seven passes for 86 yards and a touchdown against his former team. Sanders got open deep for a long reception of 38 yards down the right sideline, and he followed it up with a nice catch from an on-the-run Case Keenum to cap the drive. This was Sanders’ first touchdown since Week 7, and he’ll look to keep it going next week in a very favorable matchup with Cincinnati.

Ryan Tannehill plays well in return, but Dolphins lose on last-second field goal.

After missing five games with a shoulder injury, Tannehill was 17/25 for 204 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions, also adding three carries for 14 yards. The first score came on a 33-yard catch-and-run by Kenyan Drake, and the second came on a highlight grab by Leonte Carroo for a 74-yard touchdown. Tannehill will get a tougher draw in Week 13 against the Bills, so his QB2 case will be weaker, especially with bye weeks now concluded.

Royce Freeman gets six carries against the Steelers.

Freeman gained 17 yards on his six attempts in the Broncos’ Week 12 win. Meanwhile, Phillip Lindsay had 14 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming at the goal line. So Lindsay clearly remains the Denver running back to insert into fantasy lineups right now.
