Roethlisberger was red-hot in this one, going 22/25 for 328 yards and five touchdowns, setting a franchise-record in completion percentage in a game (88%). Big Ben also added three carries for 27 yards including a first-down run where he took a shoulder to the head from Panthers safety Eric Reid, who was ejected from the game. This could’ve been an even bigger game, but Roethlisberger didn’t play for the final 14:55 of the game with Pittsburgh up by 36 points. Roethlisberger hit nine different receivers in the game, including five different guys (JuJu Smith-Schuster, Antonio Brown, Vance McDonald, Jesse James, and Jaylen Samuels) for his five scores. Roethlisberger is obviously in the QB1 mix next week against the Jaguars, though it’s worth noting the game is on the road at Jacksonville.

James Conner is being evaluated for a potential concussion.
Conner has been in and out of the game a bit and even went into the blue medical tent for a bit, but he did re-enter the game. When the Steelers went up by 36 points in the fourth quarter, head coach Mike Tomlin appeared to tell Conner to just go to the locker room. The team is now saying the star running back is being evaluated for a possible concussion. With the game in-hand, Conner’s night is certainly over. He had yet another excellent game, rushing 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for eight yards. If Le’Veon Bell returns to the Steelers this season, he has to do it by next Tuesday, but we expect Conner will remain the team’s primary running back regardless of what Bell does—and at the very least he should be for the next two weeks with Bell likely to get a two-week roster exception if he reports.
11/8/18 - 10:44 PM ET
Sony Michel (knee) remains limited in practice.
Michel is almost certain to remain limited tomorrow, and he’ll likely be listed as questionable when the final injury report is released. He is fully expected to play though.
11/8/18 - 04:17 PM ET
Rob Gronkowski (ankle/back) was limited in today’s practice.
Gronkowski appears to be on a better track than last week when he missed the Thursday practice. We’ll see how Gronk is listed on the final injury report tomorrow, but we’d lean toward him not playing for now, as the Patriots have a bye next week and might want to ensure he’s 100% for the final stretch of the regular season.
11/8/18 - 04:15 PM ET
Marlon Mack (foot) remains limited in practice.
Mack might again be limited in tomorrow’s practice, but he’s fully expected to play against the Jaguars on Sunday. Nonetheless, we’ll let you know how he’s listed on the final Week 10 injury report when it is released sometime tomorrow.
11/8/18 - 03:52 PM ET
Chris Thompson (ribs) will not play Sunday.
This will be Thompson’s second straight missed game and his third missed game in the last four contests. He’s dealing with rib injuries to both sides, so it’s likely very painful and uncomfortable to deal with. Being ruled out already for Week 10, Thompson is likely on the doubtful side of things for Week 11.
11/8/18 - 02:53 PM ET
Josh Allen (right elbow) remains limited in practice.
Two straight limited practices is a good sign for Allen, but he probably needs to get in a full practice before feeling good about his chances of playing. Expect the Bills to exercise caution with their rookie franchise quarterback, so Allen is on the doubtful side of things for now. We’ll see how he’s listed on the official Week 10 injury report when it’s released tomorrow.
