Join now >James Conner showcases talent again in Week 6 win.
Conner rushed 19 times for 111 yards and two touchdowns, also adding four receptions for 18 yards in the 28-21 victory over the Bengals. Pittsburgh’s current workhorse also looked to have a third score on a long run, but the team decided not to challenge it. Still, fantasy owners don’t have much to complain about with Conner, who continued to show impressive power and determination as a runner by breaking tackles at an extraordinary rate. There has been talk of Le’Veon Bell returning as the Steelers head into their bye week, but it’s clear that Conner will have a role either way, and even if Bell returns, he might have a couple more weeks as the featured back. The Pitt product should be an elite RB1 in Week 8 against the Browns.

Damion Ratley leads Browns in Week 6 receiving.
Ratley played the best among Cleveland’s receivers, catching six passes (eight targets) for 82 yards, with a long of 27 yards. These were the first career receptions for the rookie receiver from Texas A&M, and the performance might have earned him a solid role moving forward. We’ll see how he plays in a great matchup against the Buccaneers next week.

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers beat the Bengals, 28-21, in heated AFC North battle.
Roethlisberger was 32/46 for 369 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions in the victory. Pittsburgh mostly relied on James Conner (19 carries for 111 yards and two scores) early on, but Big Ben got hot late, including the game-winning touchdown throw to Antonio Brown from 31 yards away on a quick pick play. The Steelers head into their Week 7 bye with Le’Veon Bell potentially returning, but it shouldn’t have much of a fantasy impact on Roethlisberger either way. Consider him a solid QB1 next time out against the Browns at home.

Nick Chubb gets three carries in Browns’ loss.
Chubb gained 25 yards on his three attempts against the Chargers, including a long run of 19 yards. The Browns continue to commit to Carlos Hyde (14 carries for 34 yards) despite talk of getting the second-round rookie more involved, making the Georgia product difficult to trust in fantasy lineups until he actually gets the ball more. That said, Chubb is a strong hold on fantasy benches in case he eventually takes over the backfield.

Chris Godwin scores against the Falcons.
Godwin caught six-of-nine targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in the Week 6 loss, with the score was an eight-yarder coming in the fourth quarter on a play where he sat down in zone coverage and got into the end zone after making the catch. The second-year receiver now has a touchdown in four of the first five games this season, and he’s simply a very good player that should continue playing well for the Bucs in 2018 and beyond.

Chargers limit Carlos Hyde in Week 6.
Hyde couldn’t get much going against LA, carrying 14 times for 34 yards. Meanwhile, Duke Johnson Jr. had two carries for 36 yards while Nick Chubb had three carries for 25 yards. After a hot start to the season, Hyde’s fantasy value continues to trend down; but he can deliver RB2 value if he remains the clear top runner for Cleveland. Hyde faces the Buccaneers in Week 7.

Mike Evans catches four passes in Week 6.
Evans was targeted five times against the Falcons, gaining 58 yards on his four receptions. It was a spread-the-wealth passing attack by Tampa Bay against Atlanta, as nine different players caught a pass in the loss. On the final play of the game, the ball ended up in Evans’ hands on a lateral play, but he was pressured and had to throw the ball while twisting in the air, which led to a low throw to DeSean Jackson on what probably would’ve ended up a game-winning touchdown if it was a clean exchange. Evans faces the Browns next week.
