Mack is likely a one-week inactive with the Colts having three quarterbacks up today, so Jordan Wilkins—who brings value on special teams—will be the No. 3 back. Look for Jonathan Taylor to get a heavy workload.

Tee Higgins (shoulder) is officially inactive for Week 3.
Higgins will be out after he was listed as doubtful on Friday, and Cincinnati will lean heavily on Ja’Marr Chase, Tyler Boyd, and Joe Mixon as they try to beat the Steelers. A short turnaround for a Thursday night game leaves Higgins’ Week 4 status in doubt.

Carson Wentz (ankles) is active today.
Wentz is gutting through the injuries for a big game against the Titans, but he isn’t a highly recommended fantasy option at less than 100%. The Colts should use a heavy dose of Jonathan Taylor as they hope to avoid an 0-3 start.

DeAndre Hopkins (ribs) is active for Week 3.
Hopkins was questionable, but the expectation has been that he would be fine, and fantasy owners can keep him in lineups. That said, A.J. Green, Christian Kirk, and Rondale Moore could all have expanded roles against Jacksonville.

Antonio Brown (COVID list) is out for Week 3.
Brown was working against the clock to have two consecutive days of negative tests 24 hours apart, and he’s unfortunately being ruled out with the Bucs departing for Los Angeles today. It’s a shame that Brown, who is vaccinated, won’t be on the field for one of the game’s of the year because of safety protocols. The veteran receiver should be good to go for Week 4’s matchup with the Patriots in Foxboro.

The 49ers elevated Kerryon Johnson to the active roster.
JaMycal Hasty (ankle) was officially placed on injured reserve, and Johnson is being bought up from the team’s practice squad. Unless Elijah Mitchell (doubtful, shoulder) ends up being able to play, Trey Sermon will be the only running back in the Niners offense that’s been with the team before recently. So, Johnson could get some work behind the rookie. The former second-round pick is someone to keep an eye on.

The Vikings have signed Ameer Abdullah to the active roster.
Abdullah has been a part of the offense and return game every week to begin the season by being elevated from the practice squad, but now he’ll stick on the 53-man roster. The veteran could have a larger role in Week 3 if Dalvin Cook (ankle) is inactive.
