Join now >Mike Gillislee gets two carries in Week 4.
Gillislee gained six yards on his two attempts, with Alvin Kamara handling most of the work in the win against the Giants. Mark Ingram is returning from his four-game suspension this week, so Gillislee’s deep-league FLEX appeal is gone.

Alvin Kamara goes for career-high rushing in Saints’ win.
In the last game of Mark Ingram’s four-game suspension, the Saints gave Kamara 19 carries against the Giants, which he turned into 134 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns—including a 49-yard score to put New Orleans up two possessions late in the fourth quarter. Kamara also had four receptions for 57 receiving yards in the win. Through four games, Kamara is on pace for 224 carries, 1,100 rushing yards, 20 rushing touchdowns, 140 receptions, 1,344 receiving yards, and four receiving touchdowns. He’s simply an ultra-dynamic player that has a great shot at a 1,000/1,000 season. Ingram’s return doesn’t have a huge impact on Kamara’s fantasy value aside from at the goal line.

Doug Baldwin makes season debut in win over the Cardinals.
Baldwin caught five passes for 41 yards in the 20-17 victory. Considering the Seahawks only passed for 172 yards, it was a solid day for Baldwin coming off an injury, and he will look to provide some impact play against the Rams next Sunday in a huge NFC West clash. However, he could see a lot of Marcus Peters, so Baldwin probably remains a risky FLEX at less than full health.
10/1/18 - 12:02 PM ET
Tyler Lockett caught three passes for 53 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.
Lockett led the team in receiving on a day where Russell Wilson threw for just 172 yards, but it was enough to defeat Arizona on a last-second field goal. The former third-round pick has been very steady to start the year, and at the season’s quarter mark, he is on pace for 68 receptions, 996 yards, and 12 touchdowns. Lockett could benefit from Doug Baldwin now in the lineup heading into next Sunday’s matchup with the Rams, as he might avoid Marcus Peters. Consider the 26-year-old a quality FLEX option in all leagues.

Taysom Hill gets extended playing time in Saints’ win.
Hill was used several times as a second quarterback for the Saints, with Drew Brees split out while Hill took a direct snap. Hill as 1/2 for ten yards and added four carries for 28 yards. The use of Hill on zone reads and occasional passes could be something we see more of moving forward, and he’s also still being used on kick returns and special teams, but he’s obviously not a fantasy option right now. Hill has been an asset for the Saints in real life, though.
10/1/18 - 11:59 AM ET
Drew Brees doesn’t throw a touchdown but the Saints put up 33 points to improve to 3-1.
Brees was 18/32 for 217 yards against the Giants, as Alvin Kamara did most of the damage with 134 rushing yards and three touchdowns. The Giants did a great job of trying to take away Michael Thomas, but Brees spread the ball around to his other targets. Also, the future Hall of Famer helped ice the game with a clutch throw to tight end Josh Hill with New Orleans backed up against their own goal line late in the fourth quarter. Through four games, Brees is on pace for 5,180 passing yards, 32 passing touchdowns, zero interceptions, and eight rushing touchdowns (though getting close to eight rushing scores would be a major surprise. Expect Brees to bounce back with some scores next Monday night at home against the Redskins.

Rashaad Penny rushed nine times for 49 yards in Sunday’s win over the Cardinals.
Penny basically saw his role remain the same despite Chris Carson (hip) being inactive for the game, as Mike Davis led the backfield with 25 touches and two touchdowns. That said, it was the best game of the season for the rookie, and Seattle’s backfield is probably completely up in the air heading into a matchup with the Rams. Penny won’t be a recommended option in Week 5.
