Valdes-Scantling’s lone reception went for 38 yards. It’s the second reception of the rookie’s career, so he’s not yet a recommended fantasy option.

Tom Brady, Patriots get rolling after slow start in 38-7 victory.
Brady went 23/35 for 274 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in a win over the previously 3-0 Dolphins. It wasn’t the prettiest day by any means for Brady, but a 55-yard touchdown pass on a catch-and-run by Cordarrelle Patterson got things going, and he also hit Phillip Dorsett (nine yards) and James White (14 yards) for scores in the red zone. At the quarter mark of the season, TB12 in on pace for 3,672 yards, 36 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions, but he gets reinforcements coming with Josh Gordon still learning the offense and Julian Edelman returning from suspension this Thursday night. Plus, Rob Gronkowski has done basically nothing this year, so now seems like the time to buy low on Brady heading into a short week against the Colts.

Davante Adams catches eight passes in Week 4.
Adams had the tough task of going up against shutdown second-year corner Tre’Davious White, but White didn’t appear to be on him for every snap of the game. Adams benefited from a team-high 14 targets from Aaron Rodgers, catching eight passes for 81 yards in the win. Matchups don’t matter much for Adams, who is one of the league’s top receivers and catches passes from one of the league’s top quarterbacks. Through four games, Adams is on pace for 112 receptions, 1,140 yards, and 12 touchdowns.

Mike Gesicki catches one pass in loss to the Patriots.
It went for nine yards. The rookie seemed to be in a slam-dunk spot against a New England defense that had major issues entering Week 4, but Miami was dominated in all facets. Gesicki is seeing the majority of snaps at tight end for the Dolphins, though, and he has a the talent to breakout in the very near future. Consider him an upside TE2 for Week 5 against Cincinnati.

Ty Montgomery gets seven touches in Week 4.
Montgomery carried five times for 18 yards and added two receptions for 56 yards in Green Bay’s win over Buffalo. Montgomery had the longest play of the game for the Packers, as he caught a deep ball down the left sideline for 43 yards. He did fumble in the game, but it was recovered by the Packers. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams are currently getting more work as runners, but Montgomery continues to have a role in the backfield. However, he’s a risky FLEX option in fantasy lineups. Montgomery is on pace for 64 carries for 288 yards and 44 receptions for 540 yards through four games.

Jakeem Grant caught two passes for 17 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots.
Grant looks like he will remain an offensive factor in some capacity for as long as DeVante Parker is inactive, but he is probably too hit-or-miss to consider for fantasy lineups. The Dolphins will look to get back on track against the 3-1 Bengals next Sunday.
10/1/18 - 08:31 AM ET
Jamaal Williams gets 11 carries in Packers’ win.
Williams gained 27 yards compared to Aaron Jones’ 65 yards on the same number of attempts. When you consider Ty Montgomery is also mixing in, Williams is currently a riskier FLEX option. The second-year back has a valuable role as a pass protector, though, and should continue seeing the field despite Jones continuing to make explosive plays as a runner. Through four games, Williams is on pace for 188 carries for 648 yards and 20 receptions for 112 yards.
