Darren Sproles | Retired RB

Darren Sproles (hamstring) is expected back this week.

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he expected both Sproles and Jay Ajayi back for this Sunday against the Titans. Sproles missed the last two games while dealing with his hamstring injury, and he’s likely to immediately see a solid amount of playing time when he gets back on teh field.

John Ross | Free Agent WR

John Ross caught three passes for 16 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.

Ross was contained again as Tyler Boyd went off for the second-straight week, and the 2017 first-round pick has just 27 yards and a score so far this season. Perhaps he will get going in what should be a high-scoring affair next Sunday against Atlanta, but Dan Quinn’s defense is arguably the best in the league at avoiding the deep ball; that said, starting safeties Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal are both out for the year, so maybe Ross can get behind the defense.

9/24/18 - 12:27 PM ET

Jay Ajayi | Free Agent RB

Doug Pederson expects Jay Ajayi (back) to return this week.

We’ll monitor the practice report throughout the week, but expect Ajayi to be back in action after missing one game. Remember, Ajayi previously returned to the Week 2 loss to the Bucs with the back injury, so it probably isn’t too serious. The Eagles probably just didn’t feel the need to rush their top back into action at less than 100%.

9/24/18 - 12:26 PM ET

Tyler Kroft | Free Agent TE

Tyler Kroft catches one pass in 31-21 loss to the Panthers.

It went for 16 yards. Kroft isn’t a fantasy option with Tyler Eifert healthy, and it looks like he might split the “handcuff” role with C.J. Uzomah this season.

9/24/18 - 12:24 PM ET

C.J. Uzomah | Eagles TE

C.J. Uzomah scores in loss to the Panthers.

Uzomah caught two passes for 19 yards, including a one-yard score in the second quarter. The 25-year-old isn’t a recommended fantasy option with Tyler Eifert healthy.

9/24/18 - 12:23 PM ET

Zach Pascal | Giants WR

Zach Pascal catches one pass in Week 3.

Pascal gained three yards on his lone reception. He’s off the fantasy radar for now.

9/24/18 - 12:22 PM ET

Tyler Eifert | Free Agent TE

Tyler Eifert caught six passes for 74 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.

Eifert had a great game considering he looked like a part-time player in Week 2 by shuffling in and out with backups Tyler Kroft and C.J. Uzomah. The former first-round pick has a good chance to find the end zone for the first time this season in what should be a shootout against Atlanta next Sunday, so consider him a low-end TE1 at an injury-riddled position.
