Join now >Jarvis Landry (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Jets.
Landry is expected to play, but fantasy owners should have their backup plans ready just in case the Browns decide to keep him out on a short week. If he does indeed suit up, Landry should be a target monster with Josh Gordon now in New England, so we would consider him a solid WR2 in standard leagues with a boost in PPR formats.

Ryan Fitzpatrick plays lights out in 27-21 win over the Eagles.
Fitzpatrick went 27/33 for 402 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception, making it two weeks in a row with 400+ yards and four scores. The veteran simply picked apart the Eagles defense all afternoon, connecting with DeSean Jackson for a 75-yard touchdown on the first pass of the game and then throwing another 75-yard touchdown to O.J. Howard in the second quarter. He finished things off with two red-zone scores to Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Barring a complete collapse against the Steelers next Monday night, it appears that Jameis Winston won’t be getting his starting job back when he returns from suspension in Week 4. Perhaps the zone defense of the Steelers will make things tough on the veteran in Week 3, but it’s difficult to count out Fitzpatrick as a QB1 option after his scorching start.

Josh Gordon is at Patriots practice, according to multiple reports.
Despite Patriots head coach Bill Belichick saying the trade for Gordon was not yet official earlier today, the team’s newest receiver is out there for the first day of practice this week. Expect him to get acclimated to the offense over the next few days before playing at least some snaps on Sunday night against the Lions. Gordon is a high-risk, high-reward fantasy option for Week 3.

Corey Davis catches five passes in Titans’ win.
Davis was targeted seven times against the Texans, gaining 55 yards on his five receptions. It was a run-heavy gameplan for the Titans, and Davis would have more upside with Marcus Mariota back under-center for the team. The Week 3 matchup with the Jaguars is as tough as it gets.

The Lions signed Keon Hatcher to the practice squad.
Hatcher impressed with the Raiders during the summer and earned himself a roster spot, but he was then cut after Oakland re-signed Martavis Bryant. The 2017 undrafted receiver will look to develop on the practice squad and work his way into a 53-man roster spot.

Dion Lewis gets 15 touches in Week 2.
Lewis had 14 carries (compared to Derrick Henry’s 18) for 42 yards and added one reception (on one target) for one yard. Lewis has a difficult matchup with the Jaguars in Week 3. For what it’s worth, he had 16 touches for 66 total yards in last year’s AFC Championship Game against Jacksonville when he was with New England.

Joe Mixon says he had a slight meniscus tear.
Mixon says he feels better now than he did after last Thursday’s game, so the recovery from Saturday’s knee procedure appears to be going well. A slight meniscus tear might mean Mixon will be on the longer end of the two-to-four-week timeframe, but the original expectation was two weeks, so there’s still reason for optimism that he’ll be back very soon. For now, expect Mixon to be on the doubtful side of things for Week 4, with a Week 5 return against the Dolphins looking more likely.
