Penny carried ten times for 30 yards and was targeted twice in the passing game, working as Seattle’s leader in the backfield against Chicago. Chris Carson started the game and was supposed to be the leading ball-carrier, but the Seahawks went away from that plan; the team might just want to get their first-round pick going. Penny is difficult to trust in Week 3 against the Cowboys.

Isaiah Crowell gets 14 touches in Jets’ loss.
Crowell was the clear lead ball-carrier against the Dolphins, carrying 12 times (compared to Bilal Powell’s five) for 35 yards. He also had two receptions for four yards, but Powell was heavily involved as a receiver with five receptions for 74 yards and a score. This remains a committee backfield, so neither Crowell or Powell is more than a FLEX option.

Russell Wilson gets sacked six times in Seahawks’ Week 2 loss.
This is the second time in as many weeks Wilson has been sacked six times to open the season, as the offensive line isn’t giving him much time to throw. In the loss, Wilson was 22/36 for 226 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception along with three carries for 17 yards. Wilson also fumbled twice and lost one. The first touchdown was on a beautiful 20-yard pass to Tyler Lockett to the corner of the end zone, and the second touchdown was to a wide-open Will Dissly with under 20 seconds remaining. Wilson faces a talented Cowboys defense in Week 3, but he remains a QB1 option. Remember, Wilson sometimes has slow starts to seasons before turning it on.

Sam Darnold throws two interceptions in Week 2.
Darnold was 25/41 for 334 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the loss to the Dolphins, with the score coming on a 28-yard pass over the middle to Bilal Powell. The 300-yard performance makes him the youngest in NFL history to accomplish the feat (21 years, 103 days). Darnold is going to have some growing pains as a very young rookie quarterback, so he’s difficult to trust in fantasy lineups. The Jets face the Browns this Thursday night.

The Redskins are signing Michael Floyd, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Washington already added former first-round pick Breshad Perriman earlier today, so this makes it two big former first-round receivers added to the roster in just a few hours. Floyd isn’t on the fantasy radar at the moment, but he’s a big-bodied receiver that can make plays down the field and in the red zone. Perriman and Floyd might eventually push Josh Doctson for playing time with the Redskins.

Kenny Stills catches two passes in Week 2 win.
Stills gained 17 yards on his two receptions (three targets) against the Jets. Stills will look to bounce back in Week 3 against the Raiders, but he’s more of a weaker FLEX option.

The Redskins have signed former first-round pick Breshad Perriman, according to multiple reports.
Perriman, the No. 26 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, was released by Baltimore as has recently worked out for several teams. The 25-year-old is a size-speed prospect that just never found his footing in Baltimore, but perhaps Jay Gruden will get the best out of him in Washington. Perriman is actually almost a year younger than 2016 first-rounder Josh Doctson, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he ended up taking snaps away from the TCU product. Right now, he’s just a dynasty prospect and can be ignored in redraft leagues.
