This is a good step after Adams was a non-participant in yesterday’s practice. Adams has already said he’ll be out there on Sunday against the Vikings, so there’s a chance he’s not even on the injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

Brandin Cooks leads team in receiving as Rams top the Raiders.
Cooks caught five passes for 87 yards, also adding a six-yard rush in his team debut. The versatile speedster showed some toughness in contested catch situations, which Sean McVay has to love, and it will only increase his fantasy value. That said, Cooks will probably face off with Patrick Peterson, Casey Hayward, and Xavier Rhodes over the next three weeks, so fantasy owners should temper expectations for the rest of the month.

Corey Davis (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
Davis said this morning that his hamstring is “good,” and it might be tired of dealing with hamstring issues since entering the league. We’ll see how he’s listed tomorrow, but Davis is fully expected to play on Sunday against the Texans.

Greg Olsen (foot) is month-to-month.
Just minutes after an NFL Network report said Olsen would miss a significant amount of time, the team announced that Olsen suffered a re-fracture of his right foot injury from last year. They say no surgery is planned at this time and that Olsen will be evaluated on a monthly basis. Those with IR spots in their leagues can place him there, but otherwise it might not be worth holding Olsen on fantasy rosters, as there’s a chance he doesn’t play again this season. Fourth-round rookie Ian Thomas is the next man up for the Panthers as their primary receiving tight end, but other guys like receiver Devin Funchess and running back Christian McCaffrey will be asked to do more moving forward.

Will Fuller (hamstring) remains limited in practice.
The third-year receiver has yet to get a full practice in since injuring his hamstring during the summer. He’s almost certainly headed for a questionable designation when the official injury report is released sometime tomorrow.

Jared Cook explodes for 180 yards in Week 1.
The weak spot of the Rams defense is probably the middle of the field at the linebacker spot, and the Raiders took advantage by targeting Cook early and often in the game. He had over 100 yards in the first half, and overall he had nine receptions for 180 yards, which was the most in the game. Cook played as well as the numbers indicate, as he showed reliable hands and ran very tough, moving forward for positive yardage through defenders. Cook isn’t going to be this heavily-featured each week, but he’ll obviously have a solid role in Week 2 against the Broncos.

DeAndre Hopkins (foot) remains limited in practice.
His Week 2 status isn’t in much doubt, but the foot issue is worth keeping track of. Hopefully Hopkins is able to get in a full practice tomorrow and avoid being listed on the official injury report for the game.
