Greg Olsen | Retired TE

Greg Olsen (foot) is expected to miss “a significant chunk of time,” according to NFL Network.

NFL Network’s Mike Garfolo says the team is still evaluating to see how much time Olsen will miss, and Ian Rapoport adds that injured reserve (with the potential to return after eight weeks) is a possibility. This has seemed pretty obvious since Olsen left Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, and unfortunately it appears the veteran tight end will indeed miss most of the season because of a foot injury for the second straight year. The Panthers are likely to shed more light on the situation soon.

DeSean Jackson | Retired WR

DeSean Jackson (concussion) was limited in practice.

Jackson is making progress through the concussion protocol, which is a great sign for him personally and for his status Sunday against the Eagles. We’ll see if he can get full clearance tomorrow ahead of the weekend. If not, he’ll likely be listed as questionable and would have until Sunday to get cleared.

Cooper Kupp | Seahawks WR

Cooper Kupp scores in Week 1 victory.

Kupp caught five passes for 52 yards and a score, which came from eight yards out in the third quarter. He also rushed twice for 16 yards. The second-year slot receiver should remain a key factor in Sean McVay’s offense all season long, and he might be relied upon more over the next few weeks against some stingy perimeter corners. Consider Kupp a solid FLEX option in next Sunday’s matchup with Arizona.

Marlon Mack | Free Agent RB

Marlon Mack (hamstring) remains limited in practice.

Mack has one more day to get in a full practice participation, which would make everyone feel better about his status for Sunday’s game versus the Redskins. We’ll get more clarity on the situation tomorrow, but consider Mack 50/50 for now.

Ben Roethlisberger | Retired QB

Ben Roethlisberger has a minor elbow issue.

He may be limited throughout the week in practice, but there is no question Roethlisberger will be out there on Sunday against the Chiefs. This is just something to keep in mind moving forward, but it’s not a huge concern at the moment. Roethlisberger has thrown 14 touchdowns and four interceptions and has a 6-1 record in his career against the Chiefs, so it’s a team he probably likes facing. He’s in the QB1 mix for Week 2.

Ben Roethlisberger | Retired QB

Concerns emerge around Ben Roethlisberger’s (elbow) status for Week 2.

Roethlisberger didn’t practice yesterday, which was normal for a veteran player like him, but he again missed practice today. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had said the injury is just a normal bumps and bruises thing, but another missed practice is a slight concern. It would be a surprise if Roethlisberger doesn’t play on Sunday, but he’ll probably be listed as questionable when the official injury report is released tomorrow.

9/13/18 - 03:51 PM ET

Amari Cooper | Free Agent WR

Amari Cooper gets held to one catch against the Rams.

Cooper had a very difficult matchup to open the season, and he had just one reception (three targets) for nine receiving yards and one carry for nine rushing yards. Next week against the Broncos isn’t an easy matchup, but he should find more room to navigate than he did tonight. Don’t be scared off by Cooper based off this one subpar game.
