Sims gained nine yards on his two receptions against the Packers. He’s not a fantasy option as long as Trey Burton remains healthy.

Anthony Miller catches two passes in NFL debut.
Miller gained 14 yards on his two receptions. The second-round rookie receiver flashed his great route-running and hands on his two receptions, and he also showed excellent effort when throwing a block on a scramble by Mitchell Trubisky. He’s a clear top-three wide receiver with Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel.

Trey Burton catches one pass in Bears debut.
Burton was targeted six times by Mitchell Trubisky, but the two couldn’t quite connect throughout the night. Burton gained 15 yards on his lone reception. While the stat line is disappointing, the usage leads to optimism; clearly, the Bears expect Burton to be a big part of their offense. He remains in the TE1 mix for Week 2.

Taylor Gabriel catches all five targets in Week 1 loss.
Gabriel worked as a clear starter opposite Allen Robinson against the Packers. He gained 25 yards on his five receptions, but he did have a long of 31 yards. The Bears mostly seemed to want the ball in Gabriel’s hands so he could use his speed to make plays, but he is likely to be used more as a deep threat moving forward, too.

Allen Robinson plays well in Bears debut.
Robinson didn’t get much time in the preseason, but he looked like his usual self and was not limited in the loss to Green Bay. The former Jaguar caught four of a team-high seven targets for 61 yards. His first reception was a beautiful back-shoulder catch for 33 yards, and there should be plenty of those moving forward this season. Robinson should be in fantasy lineups next week against the Seahawks.

Tarik Cohen gets eight touches in Week 1.
Things were kept under wraps during the preseason, but Matt Nagy and the Bears unveiled some of the plans they have for the dynamic second-year back in 2018. Cohen had five carries for 25 rushing yards and three receptions for 16 receiving yards in the loss, and he also had a 42-yard punt return that he nearly took the distance. Chicago clearly wants to get Cohen on the edge on rushing attempts, and we should see him more involved as a receiver moving forward. He’s in FLEX consideration for PPR leagues next week against the Seahawks.
9/10/18 - 01:49 PM ET
Jordan Howard gets 20 touches in loss to the Packers.
Howard carried 15 times for 82 rushing yards and added five receptions (on five targets) for 25 receiving yards in the Sunday night game. It was only one game, but for a primetime audience, Howard probably shut everyone up that claims he cannot catch; he was very reliable as an outlet for Mitchell Trubisky, and he appears to be a good bet for a few catches per game this season. It is slightly concerning that Tarik Cohen was so involved on offense earlier, but Howard still had three times as many carries as him. Howard is a strong option in Week 2 against the Seahawks.
