Dalvin Cook (22 touches) received the majority of the playing time for the Vikings, but Murray still had a role and was seemingly given the ball whenever he was in the game. Murray gained a team-high 42 yards on his 11 carries, showing his usual great vision and one-cut ability. Ideally for the Vikings, Murray will get double-digit carries every week, which would keep him in FLEX consideration.

Luke Stocker caught two passes for 37 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.
The highlight was a 31-yard reception that got Tennessee inside the ten, and he also caught a six-yard pass. Even with Delanie Walker done for the year, Stocker isn’t a recommended fantasy option; the veteran can remain on the waiver wire.

Kirk Cousins throws two touchdowns in Vikings debut.
Cousins played well in his first start for Minnesota, taking what the defense gave him while avoiding turnovers while his defense played great against the Niners. Cousins was 20/36 for 244 yards and two touchdowns while also adding four carries for 26 yards on the ground. The first touchdown was an end-zone dime to Stefon Diggs down the left sideline for 22 yards, and the second was to Kyle Rudolph in the back of the end zone for 11 yards. Cousins faces the Packers in Week 2.
9/10/18 - 08:58 AM ET
Corey Davis caught six passes for 62 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.
Davis led the team in receiving, but Tennessee had just 220 yards through the air with Marcus Mariota and Blaine Gabbert under center. The second-year wideout should have a good matchup next week against the Texans, but he will obviously take a hit if Mariota isn’t healthy enough to play. Consider Davis a low-end WR2/FLEX option for now.

Dion Lewis leads backfield in Titans debut.
Lewis rushed 16 times for 75 yards and one touchdown, also adding five receptions for 35 yards. The former Patriot will be in a backfield split with Derrick Henry all year long, but he got the better of it in Week 1. It’s only one week, but it looks like Lewis will have weekly low-end RB2/FLEX value in standard leagues and is a great RB2 in PPR formats. Tennessee takes on Houston next Sunday.
9/10/18 - 08:55 AM ET
Derrick Henry is held in check as Dolphins top Titans.
Henry rushed just ten times for 26 yards and caught a five-yard pass. This has to be the biggest disappointment of the week, as Henry couldn’t get going against what projects to be one of the league’s worst run defenses due to a couple weather delays—the game lasted over seven hours, a new record—that kept Miami fresh. He also had an impressive 62-yard touchdown run called back because of a highly questionable holding call, and Dion Lewis scored in the red zone. Overall, Lewis’ usage (16 carries, five receptions) was a concern, but Henry remains an RB2 option that should get more touches next week against the Texans.
9/10/18 - 08:52 AM ET
Marcus Mariota finished 9/16 for 103 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions before leaving Sunday’s loss with an elbow injury.
Thanks to weather delays, it turned out to be the longest game in NFL history at over seven hours, but Mariota never returned to the field after throwing his second interception, which seemed to sail on him based on the injured elbow. The dual-threat quarterback also rushed three times for 15 yards before leaving, and he will likely be limited in practice and questionable leading up to next week’s game against the Texans. If he does play, it might be best to avoid Mariota to see how he looks, so consider him a risky QB2.
