The Saints are releasing Trevor Siemian, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
New Orleans plans to bring Siemian back later in the week, but the logistics of cutting down the roster to 53 players is causing them to release him for now. The veteran is expected to be the No. 2 quarterback on game days with Taysom Hill in the do-it-all role, and fourth-round pick Ian Book should be a healthy scratch to begin his career.

The Colts waived Kahale Warring.
Warring probably arrived in Indy way too late in the process to make the final roster. However, the Colts got him in the building and now may be looking to stash him on the practice squad. We’ll see if the former third-round pick makes it through waivers.

The Bears are releasing Riley Ridley, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
A fourth-round pick out of Georgia in the 2019 NFL Draft, Ridley caught ten passes for 108 yards over the past two seasons. He never had a big role, but Ridley is still young, and another team will certainly give him a look. Atlanta—where he would finally play with his brother Calvin—comes to mind.

The Bears have released Ryan Nall, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Nall has seen limited touches as a hybrid running back/fullback over the past couple of years, but Chicago is now moving on. We would expect he will get another shot somewhere else—potentially before Week 1.

The Falcons cut D’Onta Foreman.
As a relatively late arrival this summer, Foreman was unable to crack the initial 53-man roster for the Falcons. However, Foreman profiles as someone that could land back with Atlanta on the practice squad.

The Giants released Corey Clement.
There was even some talk that Clement was pushing for the No. 2 running back spot with the Giants earlier during training camp, but the versatile running back is now one of the final cuts. A number of teams should be interested in Clement.
