Join now >Isaiah Crowell is apparently being evaluated for a concussion.
On a 16-yard touchdown reception from Teddy Bridgewater, Crowell took a big shot from a few Falcons defenders as he crossed the goal line. Crowell was under the medical tent for a few minutes before heading to the locker room. His night is probably over, but hopefully it’s not too serious.

George Kittle (shoulder) is expected to be out until Week 1.
It’s the same timeline as teammate Matt Breida, who has a similar injury. The shoulder injury isn’t too serious, but it’s a separated shoulder that should keep him out for the rest of the preseason. This takes some of the momentum out of the breakout hype for Kittle, but he’ll still offer TE1 upside at the end of fantasy drafts. He’s likely to be on the field in Week 1 versus the Vikings.

Marlon Mack (hamstring) is week-to-week.
Mack suffered a hamstring injury in last night’s preseason game versus the Seahawks. Week-to-week probably isn’t quite as bad as what his hamstring injury could have been deemed, but he’s no lock to be ready for the season opener. The best course of action would be for the team to let Mack get very close to 100% to prevent hamstring complications throughout the season. Nyheim Hines, Jordan Wilkins, and Christine Michael will all look to carve out a sizable role with Mack out. Keep in mind, Robert Turbin is suspended for the first four games of the season because of PEDs. Mack’s ADP is going to drop in the coming days until he returns.

Deon Cain suffered a torn ACL in last night’s preseason game.
The talented sixth-round rookie from Clemson had been a star this summer, and this is tough to hear for someone that was apparently making the most of his opportunity with the Colts. Cain was potentially set for a big role as a top-three receiver for Indy, and now he’ll rehab and look to get back to 100% for 2019. Cain is still a very strong dynasty-league hold and could potentially become the number two receiver for the Colts next season.

Matt Breida’s MRI showed no structural damage to his shoulder, according to NFL Network.
The Niners reportedly hope that Breida can be ready for Week 1, and he might be able to practice on a limited basis in non-contact capacity soon. With Breida out, Joe Williams and Raheem Mostert lead the backs that will look to take advantage of more reps and carve out a nice role behind starter Jerick McKinnon. Breida might still remain the preferred handcuff for McKinnon unless someone else really steps up in the next few weeks.

Derrius Guice suffered a torn ACL in last night’s preseason game, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
This is just absolutely brutal news for the Redskins and their second-round rookie running back. There was optimism that Guice had gotten away with just a knee sprain, but now he will miss his entire rookie season. The Redskins might now turn to a full-blown committee backfield with Samaje Perine, Rob Kelley, and Chris Thompson leading the way; it’ll be a competition, but we believe Perine will emerge and deliver the best value in standard leagues. Guice has plenty of time to rehab and come back better than ever in 2019, but this is a really tough blow for him as he starts his NFL career and for the Redskins, who looked like they had a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate. We wish Guice luck in his recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the field in 2019.

George Kittle’s shoulder injury is not serious, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says there are no “no tears or structural damage” to Kittle’s shoulder; however, Rapoport did call it a separated shoulder, which could potentially force him to miss a few weeks. The Niners might give a clear update on the expected recovery timeline for the second-year tight end, but it sounds like he could potentially be ready to go for Week 1.
