Join now >Stefon Diggs’ five-year contract extension is worth $72 million, according to multiple reports.
The fourth-year receiver is getting $40 million guaranteed, and the value of the deal can reach $81 million. This contract puts Diggs in the top ten for wide receivers, so the Vikings obviously expect big things from him moving forward. He’s an excellent bet for his first 1,000-yard season if he remains healthy this year. Diggs is going in the third for fourth round in most fantasy drafts.

Stefon Diggs has agreed to a contract extension with the Vikings, according to multiple reports.
NFL Network was the first to report the news, and it’s reportedly a five-year extension to keep Diggs with the team through the 2023 season. The former fifth-round pick has proven to be a steal by the Vikings back in the 2015 draft, as he’s been one of the league’s better receivers when healthy. Diggs has yet to reach 1,000 yards in a season, but he’s had at least 720 yards in each of his first three seasons and has 200 receptions for 2,472 yards and 15 touchdowns in that span. Diggs is an all-around receiver with very good ability on jump-ball situations down the field despite standing at six-foot. Soft-tissue injuries have been the only concern with Diggs, but he’ll again be a solid fantasy asset in 2018 and offers WR1 upside.

Josh McCown compared Quincy Enunwa to Anquan Boldin.
McCown was with Boldin during the start of his career with the Cardinals, and he said “Quincy kind of has that after catch, that tough mentality… He gets the ball in his hands and makes plays… Every day he’s on the field with us I think is a good day for us.” This is noteworthy because McCown could very well be under-center for Week 1, and he’d probably love throwing to a guy that reminds him of Anquan Boldin, who is currently ninth all-time with 1,076 receptions. Enunwa is still practicing with a red non-contact jersey, but all indications are he’ll be ready to go this season. After a solid 58/857/4 receiving line in 2016, Enunwa has sneaky 1,000-yard upside if he’s featured for the Jets in 2018.

The Browns have signed tight end Orson Charles.
Charles joins a crowded tight end group that includes David Njoku and Seth DeValve, but he’ll look to carve out a role behind them. Charles is 6’3″, 257 pounds with athleticism, and he’s spent time with the Bengals, Lions, and Chiefs.

Tyler Eifert (back) has passed his physical.
After missing the first few training camp practices, Eifert has been removed from the PUP list and is expected to return to today’s practice. It was obviously concerning that Eifert was having back issues, but it’s a very positive sign that he’s apparently feeling good now after not missing much time. Eifert will always be a risk because of his unfortunate injury history, but he has TE1 upside because of his ability in the red zone.

Adam Gase says Albert Wilson is an outside receiver.
According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Gase said “he’s not a slot… nobody understands, I mean, it’s a little frustrating. He’s an outside guy.” Gase went on to talk about Wilson’s versatility and about how he played “all over the place” with the Chiefs and in college at Georgia State. The Dolphins don’t have Wilson’s role locked in, but it sounds like he’ll play a bunch of different spots to get the ball in his hands—though the role might not be big enough to deliver consistent fantasy value in standard leagues. However, the contract (three years, $24 million) Wilson signed in the offseason could indicate Miami has big plans for him. He’s someone to watch during preseason action. Meanwhile, Danny Amendola is locked in as the starting slot receiver for the Dolphins.

Rishard Matthews has been placed on the PUP list.
Matthews hasn’t practiced since the Titans started training camp last week, and the team went ahead and placed him on the PUP list. The exact injury Matthews is dealing with remains unknown, but it’s not a great start with a new coaching staff in place. The other receivers of the Titans will continue to soak up reps with Matthews out.
