Join now >The Redskins waived running back Keith Marshall.
Marshall, a 2016 seventh-round pick of the Redskins, has unfortunately had bad injury luck and spent both of his NFL seasons on injured reserve. The talented former Georgia running back is only 24 and is likely to get another opportunity soon.

Julio Jones will report to training camp after agreeing to a revised contract.
The Falcons announced the news shortly before midnight, and their superstar receiver will now be with the team for camp, which kicks off tomorrow. General manager Thomas Dimitroff released a statement that says, in part: “We have had continued dialogue all offseason with Julio and his representation. We have come to an agreement with Julio, and we will re-address everything in 2019. I appreciate everyone’s hard work and communication on this.” It sounds like Jones is going to play out the 2018 season before re-signing for what is expected to be a monster deal next offseason, so he could really put up big numbers in the coming campaign. This is great news for the Falcons, fantasy owners, and Julio—who should be a first-round pick in all fantasy drafts.

Ron Rivera says Christian McCaffrey getting 25-30 touches per game would be “ideal.”
There’s no question that McCaffrey actually getting that many touches per game is a bit of a stretch, as even the low end would be 400 touches for the season. This comes a day after talk of the second-year running back getting 200+ carries this season, though, and clearly the Panthers want to make an effort to get him the ball. We should find out more throughout the summer and in preseason games, but despite the addition of C.J. Anderson, McCaffrey appears poised to get a bigger workload in 2018. He could climb up fantasy draft boards in the coming weeks.

Carson Wentz (knee) is not starting training camp on the PUP list.
Wentz isn’t expected to be a full participant to start camp, but this is still a great sign after Wentz tore his ACL in early December. The Eagles would probably be wise to not have Wentz push things too much, but the third-year quarterback is certainly raring to go and could become a full participant soon. It’s been the expectation all along, but Wentz is now guaranteed to start the season on Philadelphia’s 53-man roster, and it would be a major surprise if he’s not out there for Week 1 against Atlanta.

Texans GM Brian Gaine says “time will tell” if D’Onta Foreman is ready for the season.
Coming off a torn Achilles, the second-year running back is on the PUP list to start Texans training camp. It’s thought to be a relatively bad Achilles injury for Foreman, who suffered the injury in November and was thought to have a chance to be ready for the start of camp. Lamar Miller, Alfred Blue, and Tyler Ervin will handle most of the backfield work for as long as Foreman remains off the field.

Michael Clark is retiring from the NFL.
Clark was an undrafted receiver out of Marshall last year, and he had four receptions for 41 yards in two games as a rookie for the Packers. He had very good physical tools that intrigued people, but he’s decided to call it a career. We wish Clark luck on his plans after football.

The Bills placed Zay Jones on the non-football injury list.
The May knee surgery for Jones is keeping him off the field, but he can be taken off the NFI list as soon as he’s medically cleared. Entering an important second season, hopefully Jones is healthy and on the field soon before he falls behind in the wide receiver competition for Buffalo.
