Join now >Alshon Jeffery leads the Eagles in receiving in playoff win.
Jeffery was targeted five times by Nick Foles, catching four passes for 61 yards. The big receiver came up clutch at the end of the half with a reception at the sideline with one second remaining to set up a 53-yard field goal. And late in the game he had a couple of key catches on run-pass options. Jeffery should be a lock for another five-plus targets in the NFC Championship next weekend.

Kirk Cousins plans to sign with the Vikings on Thursday, according to ESPN.
All day today, reports emerged of Cousins visiting Minnesota first, with NFL Network reporting the Vikings did not plan to allow him to leave the building without signing a deal. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Cousins would have dinner with Vikings brass before visiting the team facility on Thursday, and it looks like he’ll be signing the dotted line to make it official at that time. Multiple reports say it’ll be a fully guaranteed three-year deal worth $84 million, so the contract will expire when he’s 32 years old, which will potentially mean another, bigger payday in a few years. Nothing can become official until tomorrow at 4:00 PM ET, so there’s still time for his mind to change, but expect Kirk Cousins to become a Viking.

The Chargers are planning to place second-round tender on wide receiver Tyrell Williams, according to Adam Schefter.
Williams is a restricted free agent, and the Chargers placing a high tender on him indicates they do not want to let him sign with another team. Any team that signs Williams to a contract will owe the Chargers a second-round pick if the Chargers don’t match it. Schefter notes there is a lot of interest in Williams and could become a trade candidate if the interested teams don’t want to part with the second-rounder, which of course the Chargers would have to agree to. While LA does have last year’s first-round pick Mike Williams set to emerge, Tyrell Williams has been a productive player over the last two seasons—including an 1,000-yard season in 2016.

The Steelers have signed fullback Roosevelt Nix to a new contract.
It’s a four-year that runs through the 2021 season for Nix, who was named as a Pro Bowler after paving the way for Le’Veon Bell this season. In terms of fantasy value, this is good news for Steelers running backs, but Nix won’t deliver much fantasy value himself. The next move for Pittsburgh is to lock up the All-Pro Bell to a long-term deal, which is something both sides seem optimistic about.

Austin Hooper catches one pass in playoff loss.
Hooper gained three yards on his lone reception. The 2016 third-round pick will look to have a breakout year in his third season, but he doesn’t look like a recommended TE1 option yet.

Ben Koyack catches 21-yard pass in playoff win.
It came on the first drive of the game and was his only reception of the game. Koyack will mostly be used as a blocker next week in the AFC Championship against New England.

Ben Roethlisberger throws five touchdowns in Divisional Round loss.
Big Ben and the Steelers certainly did their part offensively, scoring 42 points in their 45-42 loss to the Jaguars. Roethlisberger did throw an early interception on a spectacular play by Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack, but he played well after that mostly working underneath routes before taking shots to the end zone for his first four scores. The fifth touchdown was to JuJu Smith-Schuster on a quick slant route with one second remaining. He also had a fantastic play late in the game, running past the line of scrimmage before flipping the ball back to Le’Veon Bell, who ran in for a touchdown. Overall, Roethlisberger was 37/58 for 469 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception and also had two carries for 16 rushing yards and a fumble lost on a strip sack that was returned for a touchdown. While there has been some discussion about retirement and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Roethlisberger did retire, he might not want to hang it up after a big performance like this against the league’s number one pass defense. Roethlisberger’s potential retirement should be a big storyline this offseason.
