Rogers just hurt his lower leg area late in the fourth quarter and couldn’t put much pressure on it, having to be helped to the sidelines by trainers. He probably won’t be returning to the game, but before leaving Rogers had five receptions for 42 yards. Rogers will be a restricted free agent this offseason, and we’d think the Steelers will want to bring him back behind Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and company.

Danny Amendola catches 11 passes in playoff win over Tennessee.
Amendola’s 11 receptions went for 112 yards in the 35-14 victory. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the talented receiver is being unleashed in the playoffs, as New England seems to limit his snaps in the regular season to be sure he’s healthy for January. Amendola will have a big role next Sunday against either Pittsburgh for Jacksonville in the AFC Championship.

LeGarrette Blount scores in playoff win.
Blount rushed nine times for 19 yards and a touchdown in the 15-10 victory over Atlanta. Jay Ajayi operated as the lead guy for Philly, but Blount still had a nice role, including a one-yard score in the second quarter. He should handle most of the short-yardage work in the NFC Championship Game against either New Orleans or Minnesota.

The Saints are not placing a draft pick tender on wide receiver Willie Snead.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter says New Orleans only used right of first refusal for Snead, which means they can still match any offer form others teams for Snead, but they would get no draft-pick compensation if they allow Snead to leave as a restricted free agent. Schefter says “there will be a market” for Snead, and it sounds like his days in New Orleans could be numbered after he basically didn’t have a role after returning from his suspension last season. In his first two seasons, Snead had lines of 69/984/3 and 72/895/4 before catching only eight passes for 92 yards in 11 games last season.

Adrian Peterson says his neck is fine.
Peterson missed the final five games of last season and was placed on injured reserve with the neck injury, but he told ESPN’s Josina Anderson that his doctor told him that his neck is “completely healed.” The future Hall of Famer also told Anderson that he does indeed want to continue playing, which he’s said multiple times in recent months. The Cardinals are reportedly set to release Peterson soon, but it’s possible he returns there on a different contract. If not, there should be other teams interested in signing All Day.

The 49ers and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo agree to long-term contract, according to Mike Garafolo.
According to Garafolo, it’s a five-year, $137.5 million contract for Garoppolo, which is $27.4 million per year and the biggest deal in NFL history. Despite only starting five games for the Niners and two for the Patriots (and going 7-0), Garoppolo got to spend three-plus years in New England with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and has shown more than enough on the field in his limited action to make him worth this deal. Jimmy G appears to have the same type of poise Brady has shown over the years, and we anticipate him living up to this contract for the Niners. Looking ahead to next season, Garoppolo will have very high upside as a QB1 in all fantasy drafts, with San Francisco flush in cap space and almost certain to add a lot of help on offense this offseason.

Nelson Agholor handles five touches in win over the Falcons.
Agholor caught three passes for 24 yards and rushed twice for 20 yards. The Eagles probably didn’t get enough target for Agholor in the passing game, but at least they got the ball in his hands a handful of times. The former first-round pick showed great acceleration and footwork when he got the ball in his hands, and he might need to make some more plays next Sunday with a Super Bowl berth on the line against either the Vikings or Saints.
