Burkhead is off to a positive start this week, and it looks like he has a solid chance of playing on Saturday against Tennessee. The Patriots aren’t likely to put him out there if he’s not close to his usual self, but Burkhead practicing to start the week is a sign that he could be close enough to 100%.

Todd Gurley goes over 100 yards rushing in Wild Card Round.
Gurley probably didn’t get as many carries as Sean McVay and the Rams would have liked, but Atlanta held the ball for over 37 minutes, which made it difficult for LA to establish the run in the playoff loss. Gurley had 14 carries for 101 rushing yards and added four receptions for ten receiving yards, as the Falcons did a great job of limiting the explosive back through the air. Looking ahead to next season, Gurley will certainly be in the discussion for the top pick in fantasy drafts, and he should probably be considered the favorite right now.

Mike Gillislee (knee) did not practice today.
Gillislee isn’t off to a great start to the week ahead of Saturday’s Divisional Round game against the Titans. Teammate Rex Burkhead (knee) was able to get in a limited practice session, so it’s looking like Gillislee is behind and in danger of being inactive on Saturday. We’ll update you with his practice status when it is released tomorrow.

Devonta Freeman scores in playoff win over the Rams.
Freeman rushed 18 times for 66 yards and a touchdown, which came from three yards out in the second quarter. He also caught a three-yard pass. Atlanta did a nice job distributing the workload between Freeman and Tevin Coleman (17 touches), and they will look to keep that balance up between their dynamic duo next Saturday when they head to Philadelphia. It will be fun to watch Freeman’s violent running against Philly’s attacking defense.

Jon Gruden says he’s unsure of Marshawn Lynch’s status with the team.
The new head coach of the Raiders said he has never met Lynch after being denied whenever asking for him in production meeting during his time on Monday Night Football and looks forward to meeting him. Lynch was seen smiling on the sidelines and basically acting like an idiot on a few occasions this season—including getting a one-game suspension for running out on the field and trying to defend Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters—and we do not anticipate him returning to Oakland in 2018. Gruden and the Raiders are likely to target a running back in a deep draft class this year, especially while considering what rookies runners have done in the NFL over the last few years.

Jared Goff throws one touchdown in Rams’ playoff loss.
The number one scoring offense of the Rams simply didn’t have many opportunities in the Wild Card matchup against Atlanta, as the Falcons dominated time of possession by over 15 minutes. Goff and the offense couldn’t get much going early, but they got hot in the second quarter and scored ten points. However, in the second half, the Falcons controlled the ball and the clock, not allowing the Rams many opportunities. Overall, Goff was 24/45 for 259 yards and one touchdown. The score came on a dime on a wheel route to Cooper Kupp in the red zone, and Goff threw a few spectacular dimes throughout the night. Despite the disappointing end to the season, Goff still had a great second year in his first season with Sean McVay as his head coach, proving all those wrong that foolishly called him a bust after seven games last season. Entering his third season, Goff will look to make another jump, and he’ll be a QB1 in 2018 fantasy drafts.

Jon Gruden talks about Derek Carr at introductory press conference.
Gruden was re-introduced as Oakland’s head coach and answered a plethora of questions from the media, with his quarterback as the topic of a few of the questions. Carr’s new head coach said Carr has “huge upside” and made it clear that they hope to “unlock his potential.” The 26-year-old quarterback has certainly shown his potential through his first four NFL seasons, but being in an offense led by a great head coach that gets up at 3:15 every morning to watch film and has had several years to get another perspective on the game and pick up new things should allow Carr some big-time opportunities. Gruden appeared fairly excited about being able to work with his young franchise quarterback, and he’ll probably be expecting a lot of of him. The presence of Gruden gives Carr elite QB1 upside in 2018 fantasy drafts.
