Patrick Mahomes | Chiefs QB

Patrick Mahomes gets first career win in Week 17 start.

Mahomes was 22/35 for 284 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception in the 27-24 victory over Denver. The rookie also rushed seven times for 10 yards. Everyone has seemingly pegged the gunslinger as Andy Reid’s starting quarterback in 2018, but if Alex Smith makes a playoff run like he’s capable of, there’s no reason for them to move on from the veteran. Should Mahomes enter next season as the starter, he’d be a low-end QB1 option in Reid’s attack, especially if they get an improvement at wide receiver.

Doug Baldwin | Free Agent WR

Doug Baldwin scores twice in Week 17.

Baldwin had four receptions for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Cardinals, brining his stat line to 75/991/8 this season. It’s possible the Seahawks make some changes to the receiving group in 2018, but for now expect Baldwin to be a high-floor option—with perhaps limited upside—in fantasy drafts next year.

J.D. McKissic | Free Agent RB

J.D. McKissic gets seven touches in Week 17.

McKissic had four carries for nine yards and three receptions for 20 yards against the Cardinals. The former college receiver’s regular season ends with 46 carries for 187 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown along with 34 receptions for 266 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. He has a chance at a receiving role in Seattle’s backfield next season.

1/1/18 - 11:28 AM ET

Thomas Rawls | Free Agent RB

Thomas Rawls gets five touches in season finale.

Rawls had three carries for eight yards and two receptions for 20 yards in the Week 17 loss. The third-year back appeared in 12 games this season, carrying 58 times for 157 rushing yards and adding nine receptions for 94 receiving yards. We think Seattle should’ve given him more opportunities this season, but they didn’t, and he doesn’t appear likely to lead the backfield in 2018 at the moment.

1/1/18 - 11:26 AM ET

Mike Davis | Free Agent RB

Mike Davis gest 12 touches in Week 17.

Davis had ten carries for 48 yards and two receptions for 16 yards against Arizona. Davis’ seasons ends with 68 carries for 240 rushing yards and 15 receptions for 131 receiving yards. The running back situation for Seattle is very much up in the air for 2018, but it’ll likely be Chris Carson or someone else that leads it over Davis.

1/1/18 - 11:24 AM ET

Russell Wilson | Giants QB

Russell Wilson misses the playoffs for the first time in his career.

Wilson and the Seahawks didn’t have a chance because of Atlanta’s win over Carolina, but they still fell to the Cardinals in a game they had to win to stay alive for the NFC playoffs. Wilson played fine in the game, going 18/29 for 221 yards and two touchdowns along with five carries for 36 yards on the ground. Wilson had an MVP-caliber season for the Seahawks, basically carrying the offense while being the top fantasy scorer this season. He threw for 3,983 yards with 34 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions along with 95 carries for 586 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. The Seahawks clearly need to get Wilson some help for next season, and he should remain among the elite fantasy quarterbacks for 2018.

1/1/18 - 11:23 AM ET

Derek Carrier | Free Agent TE

Derek Carrier caught two passes for 10 yards in Sunday’s loss to San Francisco.

Carrier followed Sean McVay from Washington to Los Angeles, and he was mostly used as a blocker for the Rams. He finishes the regular season with eight receptions for 71 yards.
