Zay Jones | Cardinals WR

Zay Jones caught two passes for 25 yards in Sunday’s win over Miami.

Buffalo’s second-round pick didn’t make a huge impact for the Bills with a 27/316/2 receiving line in 15 games, but perhaps he will come up big in the postseason. That won’t be easy against the Jaguars next Sunday, though. Perhaps the rookie will use some of his hidden force powers in the playoffs.

1/1/18 - 12:49 AM ET

Trevor Davis | Free Agent WR

Trevor Davis leads the Packers in Week 17 receiving.

Davis caught three passes for 56 yards in the loss. The speedy second-year receiver had only five receptions for 70 yards this season, but he could have a bigger role next season if the Packers re-shape the receiving group. For now, he’s not a 2018 fantasy option, though.

12/31/17 - 10:53 PM ET

Philip Rivers | Retired QB

Philip Rivers plays great in Chargers’ Week 17 win.

The Chargers got to 9-7 and in a position to make the postseason, but it unfortunately didn’t go their way. However, Rivers played an outstanding game against Oakland, going 28/37 for 387 yards and three touchdowns. In the game, Rivers reached 50,000 passing yards for his career, becoming the ninth player in NFL history to accomplish the feat. The veteran quarterback’s season ends with 4,515 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and ten interceptions with a 62.6% completion percentage. Rivers’ ten interceptions were his lowest since 2009, and he clearly has a lot left in the tank at age 36. He’ll be a QB1 option in 2018 fantasy drafts.

1/1/18 - 12:09 AM ET

Kenny Golladay | Free Agent WR

Kenny Golladay scores long touchdown in Week 17.

Golladay caught a 54-yard touchdown on a deep ball from Matthew Stafford, and he ended up with two receptions for 80 yards and the touchdown against Green Bay. Golladay’s rookie season, which came after he lit up the preseason, was a solid one, as he caught 28 passes for 477 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. Marvin Jones and Golden Tate aren’t extremely likely to go anywhere in the offseason, but Golladay still has some breakout potential in what could be an explosive offense with a new coach in 2018.

12/31/17 - 11:17 PM ET

Devante Mays | Jaguars RB

Devante Mays gets four touches in Week 17.

Mays had one carry for two yards and three receptions for no yards against the Lions, but he did leave the game with a shoulder injury. Hopefully Mays is OK, and we’ll see if the seventh-rounder can carve out a larger role in his second NFL season in 2018.

12/31/17 - 10:51 PM ET

Greg Olsen | Retired TE

Greg Olsen held to one reception in loss to the Falcons.

Olsen was targeted a whopping 11 times in the game, but Cam Newton has perhaps his worst passing game of the season, and his lone reception went for 10 yards. The veteran battled a foot injury that put him on IR for much of the season, and he finished with just 17 receptions for 191 yards and one score in seven games, with most of that damage coming two weeks ago against the Packers. Olsen will look to be healthy and effective in the Wild Card Round against the Saints next Sunday afternoon.

1/1/18 - 12:07 AM ET

Cordarrelle Patterson | Steelers RB

Cordarrelle Patterson catches one pass in Week 17.

Patterson gained four yards on his lone reception. Despite talk of using the explosive Patterson more on offense in Oakland, he was more productive as a receiver in his final season with the Vikings last season. This year, Patterson caught 31 passes for 309 receiving yards and had 13 carries for 121 rushing yards and two touchdowns. He surprisingly didn’t return any kicks for touchdowns, but he did average 28.3 yards per return. The new coaching staff is very likely to be anxious to get their hands on Patterson and give him the ball next season.
