Jordy Nelson | Retired WR

Jordy Nelson (shoulder) will not play in Week 17.

Nelson’s season ends with 53 receptions for 482 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games—his worst statistical season since 2010, aside from his 2015 which was missed with a torn ACL. To start the year, Nelson was on fire, catching all six touchdowns in the first four games, but then an Aaron Rodgers collarbone injury played a big part in turning Nelson into a great WR1 to an uninspiring FLEX option. Nelson will be 33 this offseason, and a lot of people will probably point to his age as the reason for his drop in production. While there is a chance he’s not the elite wide receiver he was in years past, we think there is a lot left in the tank for Nelson, who is a major bounce-back candidate in 2018.

12/29/17 - 11:09 AM ET

Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Adams is in concussion protocol, and it’s probably the best move to just declare him out for the regular season finale. After his breakout 2016, Adams followed it up with another very good 2017 season without Aaron Rodgers for much of the season. Adams played in 14 games and had 74 receptions for 885 yards and ten touchdowns. There’s some thought that Adams has taken over as the top guy in the receiving corps for Green Bay, but it’s difficult to say after Jordy Nelson was off to a great start to the season when Rodgers was in the lineup. Nevertheless, this season makes two straight with double-digit touchdowns for Adams, and he’ll cash in on a big payday in free agency this offseason. We would expect the Packers to re-sign him, and that’s where his fantasy value will be at its highest.

12/29/17 - 11:04 AM ET

Emmanuel Sanders | Free Agent WR

Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) misses Thursday’s practice.

Sanders is still battling the ankle injury that’s been bothering him for several weeks, and there is not much optimism surrounding his status for the regular season finale. Maybe he’ll surprise, but don’t expect Sanders to be out there for Week 17 against Kansas City.

12/28/17 - 08:22 PM ET

Jeremy Maclin | Retired WR

Jeremy Maclin (knee) is still not practicing.

This is now five straight missed practices for Maclin, who will likely be ruled out ahead of the weekend when the official injury report for Week 17 is released tomorrow.

12/28/17 - 08:20 PM ET

Joe Mixon | Texans RB

Joe Mixon (ankle) was limited in practice.

This is progress from yesterday’s non-participation, but the Bengals probably won’t push their rookie running back if he isn’t at least relatively close to 100%. We’ll see how Mixon is listed on the official injury report when it is released tomorrow.

12/28/17 - 08:19 PM ET

Aaron Jones | Vikings RB

Aaron Jones (knee) is misses practice again.

This is two straight missed practices for the rookie running back, who doesn’t look like he’s going to play this week. Expect a heavy dose of Jamaal Williams in Week 17 against the Lions.

12/28/17 - 08:19 PM ET

Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams (concussion) did not practice today.

Perhaps Adams will get cleared by tomorrow and practice, but if he doesn’t make at least some progress in concussion protocol, the Packers will likely go ahead and rule him out for Week 17. More information will be available sometime tomorrow.
