Join now >Todd Gurley won’t play in Week 17 against the 49ers.
Neither will Jared Goff, as the Rams are locked into the third or fourth seed in the NFC and are not too worried about who the play in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs. Gurley’s stellar regular season ends with 279 rushing attempts for 1,305 rushing yards and 13 receiving touchdowns along with 64 receptions for 788 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He is by far the fantasy MVP this year, but fantasy owners will be without him for the final week of the regular season. This also could hurt his MVP bid, as he won’t lead the league in rushing. But the Rams have a Super Bowl in mind, and we’ll see Gurley and Goff back on the field in a couple weeks for the first round of the playoffs.

Chris Hogan (shoulder) was limited in practice today.
Hogan is apparently still not at 100%, and he probably won’t play until he gets a full practice in. We’ll check on Hogan throughout the week to see if he can work his way up to a full participation.
12/27/17 - 05:32 PM ET
Rex Burkhead (knee) remains out of practice.
Burkhead isn’t likely to play in the regular season finale on Sunday against the Jets. The hope right now is probably for Burkhead to be ready to go in the Divisional Round three weekends from now. We’ll update you if Burkhead happens to hit the practice field before week’s end.
12/27/17 - 05:30 PM ET
James White (ankle) was limited in practice today.
White was also limited in practice all last week, so he’ll probably have to do more if he’s going to play on Sunday against the Jets. Dion Lewis would be in for a heavy workload if White ends up missing a second straight game.
12/27/17 - 07:26 PM ET
Jeremy Maclin (knee) did not participate in today’s practice.
The veteran receiver might not be back until the playoffs, but it’d still be good to see him get at least a limited practice this week. We’ll see if Maclin is able to get in some activity tomorrow or Friday.
12/27/17 - 07:27 PM ET
Joe Mixon (ankle) did not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, but Mixon isn’t off to a good start to the week as he looks to play in the season finale of his rookie season. Hopefully Mixon is able to get out there tomorrow for practice in at least a limited capacity.
12/27/17 - 07:24 PM ET
Melvin Gordon (ankle) will be evaluated during Friday’s practice.
Gordon is expected to be fine after suffering the ankle injury late in the Christmas Eve win over the Jets, but he isn’t practicing today. Hopefully he’s OK for a must-win game, but we might not know for sure until Sunday. We’ll see how he’s listed when the official injury report for the game is released on Friday, but expect him to be in the lineup for Week 17.
