Albert Wilson drops a long touchdown in Week 16.

Wilson was targeted eight times against the Dolphins, catching three passes for 36 yards. But his most noticeable play of the day was a dropped touchdown on a perfect throw deep down the field from Alex Smith. The Chiefs still did win the game, but the drop should keep Wilson locked in and focused so it doesn’t happen again.

Jonathan Stewart rushed seven times for 19 yards in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay.

He also lost a yard on his lone reception. Stewart failed to get going on limited touches, as Christian McCaffrey led the backfield with nine carries, and Cam Newton did most of the heavy lifting with 14 carries. Carolina will potentially win the NFC South in Week 17 against the Falcons, but Stewart won’t be a reliable fantasy option to conclude the regular season.

Travis Kelce scores in Chiefs’ win.

Kelce was targeted eight times in Kansas City’s Week 16 victory, catching four passes for 47 yards and a touchdown. The score was on a route to the post where Kelce used his big frame to go up and get the pass from Alex Smith. The great tight end might not be in the lineup for Week 17 if Andy Reid opts to rest his starters, so his status is something to keep an eye on.

Tyreek Hill goes over 100 yards in Week 16.

Hill played an excellent game against the Dolphins, catching six of seven targets for 109 yards, with along reception of 52 yards. It appeared the second-year receiver made a spectacular catch in the end zone when he got both feet in bounds, but it was curiously held up as an incomplete pass after a replay review, which might’ve been frustrating for fantasy owners. It’s possible Hill sits out in Week 17 with the division locked up for KC, so we’ll have to see if Andy Reid gives an indication of playing time heading into next weekend.

Christian McCaffrey handles nine touches in Week 16 win.

McCaffrey rushed nine times for 39 yards and caught two passes for 19 yards. The dynamic rookie led the running backs in yards and carries, but it was mostly Cam Newton handling things (52 yards and a touchdown) on the ground for Carolina to clinch a playoff spot. McCaffrey will look to be more involved in the regular season finale against Atlanta, and he remains an RB1/RB2 option.

Cam Newton, Panthers clinch a playoff spot with late touchdown.

Newton was 16/25 for 160 yards, no touchdowns, and zero interceptions, but he added 14 carries for 52 yards, including the game-winning score from two yards out in the 22-19 win. On the touchdown, Cam put the ball on the ground on a quarterback blast by simply dropping it, but he was able to power into the end zone after it bounced right back up to him. Carolina still can win the NFC South and earn a home playoff game in Week 17 with a win over the Falcons and a Saints loss, so Newton owners can keep him in lineups as a high-upside QB1.

Kareem Hunt gets fed 33 touches against Miami.

Hunt continued to work as a big-time workhorse for Chiefs, carrying 29 times for 91 yards and a touchdown while adding four receptions for 15 yards in the Week 16 victory. The impressive rookie keeps running downhill with great force, and he’s not going to be fun for defenses to tackle in January. With the division locked up, Hunt might be getting some rest in Week 17.
