Join now >Matt Forte (knee) is active for Week 16.
As has been the case for much of the year, Forte doesn’t need practice time to play on Sundays. The veteran running back is still in a committee with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire, so he’s only 45th in this week’s running back rankings.

Samaje Perine (groin) is officially active today against the Broncos.
The Redskins are short on running backs, so it’s not surprising that Perine is toughing it out to play against Denver. However, Kapri Bibbs will reportedly have a sizable role with Perine at less than 100%. Perine is a risky FLEX option for Week 16.

Mike Gillislee is active for the Patriots.
After being inactive for the last six games, injuries to Rex Burkhead (knee) and James White (ankle) open up a potentially big role for Gillislee today in the Week 16 matchup against his former team. It’s possible Dion Lewis just handles most of the backfield work, including goal line carries, but Gillislee does offer high scoring upside in the FLEX slot if you want to take a risk.

James White (ankle) is inactive for Week 16.
White was limited in practice all week, and he’s not in the lineup against Buffalo. With Rex Burkhead (knee) and Chris Hogan (shoulder) also out, Tom Brady and the Patriots are a little short-handed today. Dion Lewis could get a heavy load in the backfield today, including as the primary passing down back. He’s an excellent option in fantasy lineups for the first week of fantasy championships.

Chris Hogan (shoulder) is inactive today against Buffalo.
This is Hogan’s second missed game in a row, and he’ll now miss six of the last seven games. Until his shoulder is closer to 100%, Hogan won’t be out there for New England. He’d probably do well to be back for New England’s first playoff game, but we’ll see if he can get some fun practices in and give it a go for Week 17.
12/24/17 - 11:34 AM ET
Michael Thomas (hamstring) is officially active for Week 16.
Thomas was added to the injury report yesterday with a hamstring injury, but there wasn’t much doubt he’d be out there in a huge divisional matchup with Atlanta. You can lock Thomas into lineups as a usual high-floor play despite having to contend with the strong cornerback group of the Falcons.
12/24/17 - 11:32 AM ET
Trevor Davis gets one target against the Vikings.
Davis was targeted one a deep ball that was a little out of reach, but it did look like he could’ve maybe tried to lay out for it like Randall Cobb did on a deep ball a couple plays later. Davis isn’t a fantasy option right now.
