Kerwynn Williams (quadricep/ribs) is officially questionable for this week.

Williams was only able to get in a limited practice session today, as it appears the quad is giving him more trouble than the rib issue he’s already played through. If Williams is out, Elijaa Penny is likely to receive the most work in Arizona’s backfield, but he’d be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups. Williams’ status might not be known until around 3:00 PM ET on Sunday, so you’re probably better off going with different options in your fantasy lineup for Week 16.

John Brown (toe) is questionable for Week 16.

Brown was limited in practice all week, but the good news is he wasn’t ruled out ahead of the weekend like he was for Week 15. Brown has a shot to play against the Giants in what would be an excellent matchup, but if he does play he’ll be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups. He’d be a boost for the Cardinals offense overall, though. Expect Brown to be a game-time call.

Austin Ekeler (hand) is questionable for Week 16.

Ekeler worked his way up to a full participation in today’s practice, so it looks like he has a good chance on playing on Christmas Eve against the Jets despite earlier reports that Ekeler’s season would be over because of his broken hand. The rookie running back isn’t a fantasy option, but his presence would be good for the Chargers’ backfield.

Allen Hurns (ankle) is questionable for Week 16.

Hurns was able to practice on a limited basis all week after not practicing for the last several weeks, so he’s definitely close to a return. He’ll likely be a game-time decision and won’t be a fantasy option if he does play, but it’s a great sign for the Jaguars that he should be back by the playoffs at the very latest.

DeSean Jackson (ankle) has been ruled out this week.

Jackson didn’t practice all week, so the Bucs went ahead and ruled him out ahead of the weekend. The fast veteran receiver should have a shot to play in Week 17 considering the team hasn’t placed him on injured reserve, but Jackson doesn’t need to be owned in fantasy leagues. Rookie Chris Godwin should see an extended role on the outside this week against the Panthers, and he’s someone to watch heading into 2018.

Samaje Perine (groin) is questionable for Sunday against the Broncos.

The Redskins have ruled out LeShun Daniels, and the team is running out of players at the running back position, so we expect Perine to give it a go this weekend. Kapri Bibbs would likely be in line for a big workload if Perine doesn’t suit up, but either way neither one of them will be better than a FLEX option in the first week of fantasy championship matchups.

Matt Forte (knee) is officially questionable for Week 16.

This has become routine for the veteran running back, who hasn’t needed to practice to suit up on Sundays. Expect him to be out there on Christmas Eve, but check in at 11:30 AM ET on Sunday if you’re planning on inserting Forte into your lineup. But ideally, you’ll have better options for your FLEX spot considering Forte is in a committee with Bilal Powell and Elijah McGuire.
