Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

The Dolphins waived Allen Hurns.

Hurns missed all of last season while on injured reserve due to a wrist injury, and he's being waived with a failed-physical designation. The veteran receiver has missed two consecutive seasons (opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19), but he should draw interest around the league when he's fully healthy.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns is getting wrist surgery.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Hurns is expected to miss three months after surgery, so we are looking at a potential mid-November return for the veteran receiver. He'll almost certainly be headed to injured reserve. This is tough news for a guy that's battled injuries in the past, and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns is opting out of the 2020 season.

Hurns says this was not an easy decision but that he’s decided to opt out with a baby boy on the way. The University of Miami product was looking to have a nice role for the Dolphins this season, but his contract will now roll over into 2021.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

The Dolphins signed Allen Hurns to a contract extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's reportedly a two-year extension worth $8 million with over $3 million guaranteed. This is great to hear for Hurns after the former Jaguar and Cowboy worked his way back from last year's serious leg injury. Hurns just turned 28, and perhaps he can provide more fantasy value when the Dolphins get better as a team.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Week 4.

Hurns needs to get through concussion protocol before he can play again. Hopefully he's feeling better soon, especially with the multiple injuries he's dealt with in the past few years.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (concussion) is officially questionable to return against the Cowboys.

Hurns was hit extremely hard against his former team, and it appears unlikely that he'll return to today's game. Hopefully Hurns is feeling better soon.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns is signing with the Dolphins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's reportedly a one-year deal worth up to $3 million. Right now, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills, and Albert Wilson look like Miami's three starting receivers, but Hurns might be able to carve out a nice role. At the very least, he'll provide excellent depth at receiver for the Dolphins. Hurns went to college at the University of Miami, and his hometown is Miami, so it's pretty cool that he'll be returning home to play this season. For fantasy purposes, Hurns doesn't look like an option unless he emerges as a clear starter this preseason.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

The Cowboys are releasing Allen Hurns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hurns was unlikely to get a ton of playing time with the Cowboys this season, and this might have been a mutual parting between the two sides. The former 1,000-yard receiver (for Jacksonville in 2015) will receive plenty of interest on the open market, and the 27-year-old might have a chance to make a fantasy impact if he lands in the right spot. Hurns is coming back from a gruesome broken leg suffered last postseason, but he's expected to be ready to hit the field at some point this summer. [UPDATE: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says Hurns' ankle is "ready to go".]

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns says he'll be good to go for the start of next season.

Hurns told NFL Network's Jane Slater, "I'll be good to go by the beginning of of the (2019) season." This is great to hear after Hurns suffered an ugly-looking ankle dislocation in yesterday's postseason win against the Seahawks. Hurns will probably miss all of offseason training, but he should be good to go sometime during training camp this summer.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns leaves game with gruesome leg injury.

Hurns just came up with a clutch catch for a first down, but unfortunately he suffered one of the ugliest injuries you'll see when his ankle appeared to get dislocated and his foot was facing a way it shouldn't be. This is just terrible to see for Hurns, who is getting carted off and is certainly done for the rest of tonight's game. Hurns' day ends after one reception for 14 yards, and now we just have to hope and pray this injury isn't as serious as it looks. His offseason and the beginning of the 2019 season is obviously in doubt after this injury.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass in Week 17.

Hurns got free for a 49-yard reception on his lone reception against the Giants. Hurns' regular season ends with 20 receptions for 295 yards and two touchdowns. It was relatively disappointing for someone that looked like they might be the top target in Dallas this season, but most fantasy owners didn't spend more than a late-round draft pick on him. Hurns will look to do some damage in the postseason.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass against the Colts.

Hurns gained nine yards on his lone reception in the Cowboys' Week 15 loss. Hurns doesn't get enough looks to be a recommended fantasy option right now.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass in win over the Eagles.

It went for nine yards on his only target of the game. Hurns isn't a recommended fantasy option as Michael Gallup (nine targets) separates himself as the team's No. 2 perimeter receiver.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns not targeted in Week 13 win.

Hurns started alongside Amari Cooper and Cole Beasley, but third-round pick Michael Gallup ended up leading the team in receiving with five receptions for 76 yards. The former Jaguar isn't a recommended fantasy option down the stretch, but he will look to make an impact against the Eagles next Sunday.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass in win over the Redskins.

It went for seven yards. Hurns isn’t a recommended fantasy option, but he will get a good matchup next week against the Saints.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns caught two passes for 40 yards in Sunday night's win over the Eagles.

Hurns was able to set up a Dallas score with a clutch grab in between two defenders at the end of the first half, and he also helped set up the game-winning touchdown by Ezekiel Elliott in the fourth quarter. The former Jaguar isn't a recommended fantasy option outside of deeper leagues, but he's come on over the past three games with lines of 5/74, 1/23/1, and 2/40.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns scores first touchdown as a Cowboy in Week 9 loss.

Hurns caught a 23-yard pass to close the second half on a double-move to beat Malcolm Butler for six, but that was his only reception of the game. The 26-year-old has strung his two best games of the season together, but he's not a recommended fantasy option heading into a huge SNF clash with the Eagles next week as Dallas' No. 4 receiver.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches five passes in Week 7.

Hurns gained 74 yards on his five receptions (six targets) against the Redskins, nearly matching his yardage total coming into the game. Perhaps the former Jaguar will be more consistently involved moving forward, but he won't be a highly-recommended fantasy option when the Cowboys return from their bye to face the Titans in Week 9.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns doesn't catch a pass in Week 6.

Hurns' five targets were second on the team, but he and Dak Prescott couldn't connect against the Jaguars. Hurns is difficult to trust in fantasy lineups right now.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns scores first touchdown as a Cowboys in Week 5 loss.

Hurns caught a three-yard touchdown pass in the second half for his only reception of the game and Dallas' only touchdown of the game. The former Jaguar will face his former team next week, but he's not a recommended fantasy option and doesn't need to be owned in redraft leagues.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches three passes against the Lions.

Hurns gained 30 yards on his three receptions in the Cowboys' Week 4 win. Through four games, Hurns has just seven receptions. He's not a fantasy option at the moment.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches two passes in Week 3.

Hurns gained 22 yards on his two reception versus Seattle. Hurns has just four receptions through three games for Dallas, so he's off the fantasy radar at the moment.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass in Cowboys' win.

Hurns caught a nine-yard slant to start the game, but that was it. At the moment, he's difficult to trust in a low-volume spread-the-wealth passing attack.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches 20-yard pass in team debut.

It was Hurns' only reception of the game. Dallas needs a lot more out of the former Jaguar and the rest of the weapons if they want to compete for a division title this year. We'll see if they improve next Sunday night against the Giants, but Hurns should stay on the bench or waiver wire.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns is signing with the Cowboys, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Anderson says Hurns told her he is signing with Dallas. This is a very good signing at this state of free agency for Dallas, who hasn't been very active this offseason. Terrance Williams is still in the mix for the Cowboys, but Hurns is likely to compete for a starting job opposite Dez Bryant and is probably the favorite for the job. The former Jaguars receiver is just two years removed from a 1,031-yard, 10-touchdown season, but he hasn't topped 500 yards in either of the last two seasons while dealing with injuries which limited him to 21 games. The receiving group for Dallas will be a unit to watch leading up to the season, but Hurns should have solid late-round value in fantasy drafts this summer.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

The Jaguars are releasing Allen Hurns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hurns broke out as an undrafted free agent in 2014 with 51/677/6 line, and then he followed that up in his second season with 64 receptions for 1,031 yards and ten scores, but injuries have limited him to 21 games over the past two years. It's slightly surprising that Jacksonville is releasing him, but Hurns shouldn't take too long to resurface and would offer more fantasy potential elsewhere anyway, as Marqise Lee, Donte Moncrief, Dede Westbrook, and Keelan Cole were all potentially going to be ahead of him on the depth chart. Hurns is still just 26-years-old.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns leads Jaguars in receiving in AFC Championship loss.

Hurns was a great target for Blake Bortles throughout the afternoon, catching six of seven targets for 80 yards versus the Patriots. Jacksonville can get out of Hurns' deal this offseason if they want, but he's likely to be back with them as a key member of a balanced receiving group. He'll likely go toward the end of 2018 fantasy drafts.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches one pass in playoff victory.

Hurns gained 12 yards on his lone reception against the Steelers. Next week against the Patriots isn't an easy matchup, so there might be better fantasy options for the game.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns makes return in Week 17.

After missing the last six games with a high-ankle sprain, Hurns was back in action before the playoffs, catching three passes for 38 yards. Now he'll hope to get teammate Marqise Lee, who's now dealing with an ankle injury of his own suffered a couple weeks ago, back in time for next week against the Bills in the playoffs.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) is not on the Week 17 injury report.

After missing the last six games, Hurns is set to return to the lineup for the Jaguars. This is great timing, as it'll give Hurns a week to get some game reps under his belt before the Wild Card Round of the playoffs in two weekends. It's risky inserting Hurns into fantasy lineups after so much time off, so he's not a highly-reccomended FLEX option to conclude the regular season.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains limited in practice.

Hurns is looking iffy for Week 17 against the Titans, but we'll see how he's listed on the official injury report when it's released tomorrow.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains limited in practice.

Hurns is still not at 100%, but he's trying to get back out there. With Jacksonville locked into three seed in the AFC, Hurns might not make his return until the playoffs.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) is questionable for Week 16.

Hurns was able to practice on a limited basis all week after not practicing for the last several weeks, so he's definitely close to a return. He'll likely be a game-time decision and won't be a fantasy option if he does play, but it's a great sign for the Jaguars that he should be back by the playoffs at the very latest.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains limited in practice.

The Jaguars would probably like to have Hurns out there as a veteran presence to go along with younger receivers Dede Westbrook, Keelan Cole, and Jaydon Mickens with Marqise Lee (ankle) out, but he's probably a toss up for Week 16 right now. We'll see how he's listed when the official injury report is released tomorrow.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) was limited in today's practice.

Hurns hasn't practiced since before Week 10, so he's making progress in his return from a high-ankle sprain. With Marqise Lee (ankle) looking doubtful for this week, the Jaguars could use Hurns' presence in the lineup. Consider him 50/50 to play in Week 16, and his status will be monitored throughout the week of practice.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 15.

Hurns was previously listed as a limited participant in yesterday's practice, but now the injury report says that he didn't practice all week. This will be five straight missed games in a row for Hurns. It'd be ideal for him to get back before the end of the regular season to get some action before a potential playoff run, but the smart move is to wait until he's 100% recovered from his high-ankle sprain.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) practices on a limited basis.

After not practicing for the last five weeks, it's great to see Hurns back on the practice field. He might not be quite ready to return from his high-ankle sprain this weekend, but he's at least inching closer to a return. We'll see how he's listed when the official injury report for the game is released sometime tomorrow.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains out of practice.

Dealing with a high-ankle sprain, Hurns has missed the last four games. Don't expect him to return this week, but we'll keep an eye on his practice status throughout the week to see if he gets any closer to coming back.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 14.

Hurns didn't practice all week, and this'll be his fourth-straight missed game. Consider Hurns less than 50/50 to return in Week 15, as high-ankle sprains are very difficult to overcome. It sounds like the end of the regular season would be best-case scenario for a healthy Hurns.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) remains out of practice.

It'd be a major surprise if Hurns was able to play this week against the Seahawks, and he'll probably be ruled out tomorrow when the official injury report for Week 14 is released.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) misses practice again.

Perhaps Hurns will be able to get out there tomorrow or Friday, but he might not be close to returning from his high-ankle sprain. High-ankle sprains are very tough to get back to 100% from.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday.

Hurns didn't practice all week and remains week-to-week while dealing with his ankle injury. Rookie Dede Westbrook should continue to get a good amount of snaps and could emerge as a difference-maker down the stretch.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) is not practicing today.

Hurns is still dealing with his bad ankle injury and might miss his third-straight game this Sunday. A non-practice to start the week isn't a good start for Hurns, but maybe he'll get out there tomorrow and/or Friday.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 12.

Hurns didn't practice all week, so the Jaguars went ahead and ruled him out before the weekend. He remains week-to-week and still might not play in Week 13.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice today.

Hurns' status does not look good for Sunday, and it's possible he's ruled out ahead of the weekend.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice today.

Hurns is dealing with a week-to-week ankle injury and might miss his second straight game this week against the Cardinals. It's still early in the week, though, so maybe he'll get healthy enough to play on Sunday.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 11.

Hurns didn't practice all week and his ankle injury is one that could be a multi-week injury. Talented rookie Dede Westbrook could have a huge role in his first NFL game with Hurns ruled out. Consider Hurns on the doubtful side of things for Week 12.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (ankle) did not practice today.

This is two straight missed practices for Hurns, who is dealing with a pretty bad ankle injury and doesn't appear like he'll be able to play this week. The official injury report for the game will be released tomorrow, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Hurns was ruled out ahead of the weekend.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns leaves game late against the Chargers.

Hurns was hurt late in the game and smartly crawled off the field because of the injury rules with under two minutes to go. But Hurns had a good game before leaving, catching seven of nine targets for 70 yards. There's a chance he's not ready to go in Week 11 against the Browns, so Hurns is someone to watch throughout the week.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns gets four targets in Week 9.

Hurns caught three passes for 31 yards in the Jaguars' win over the Bengals. Through eight games, Hurns is on pace for 58 receptions, 752 yards, and four touchdowns. Right now, Marqise Lee is the preferred fantasy option of the Jaguars receivers.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns goes over 100 yards against the Colts.

Hurns caught five of eight targets for 101 yards in Jacksonville's Week 7 win, with his long reception going for 50 yards. This was more of the big-play ability we've seen from Hurns in the past, and the Jags hope he'll keep it going as they continue to deal with having no Allen Robinson (ACL) in the lineup. The Jaguars have a bye next week before facing the Bengals in Week 9.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches all three targets against the Rams.

hurns gained 37 yards on his three receptions in the Jaguars' Week 6 loss. With a matchup against the Colts in Week 7, Hurns is a FLEX option but has a low floor in Jacksonville's run-heavy offense.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns gets three targets in Week 5.

Hurns caught two passes for 21 yards in the win over Pittsburgh. The Jags are committed to running the ball and only had 14 pass attempts in the game, which limits the upside of all Jacksonville receivers.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns caught four passes for 42 yards in Sunday's loss to the Jets.

Hurns led wide receivers in catches and yards, but the offense was built around running back Leonard Fournette (four catches for 59 yards). The 25-year-old is on pace for 744 yards and eight touchdowns this year, but the offense isn't consistent enough to make him a must-own in fantasy leagues.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns scores in London.

Hurns caught all three targets in the game and had 20 yards and the touchdown. The score was on a nine-yarder to the end zone, where it looked like Hurns found the hole in a zone coverage and Bortles found him. Hurns gets the Jets next week.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns caught six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Titans.

Hurns was able to compile some stats in a game the Jaguars played from behind, and his score came late in the fourth quarter. Marqise Lee remains the wideout you want to own after Allen Robinson's injury, but neither he or Hurns can be played confidently against Baltimore in Week 3.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns leads Jaguars in Week 1 receiving.

Hurns had three receptions (on four targets) for 42 yards against the Texans. After Allen Robinson's knee injury, Hurns could be back as a top-two option for the Jaguars. There are probably better options on the waiver wire this week, but he's worth a look.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns catches three passes for 28 yards in Week 3 of the preseason.

Hurns played into the second half with Blake Bortles. One pass intended for him was intercepted, but Hurns made a great effort to run down the field and try to make a tackle.  There have been some trade rumors about Hurns in recent days, and we'll see if anything comes of that before the season. Hurns would probably have more fantasy value outside of Jacksonville.

Allen Hurns inactive for Week 17.

He battled injuries this season and finishes with 35 receptions for 477 yards and three touchdowns. Look for him to bounce back next season, but it might be tough for him to duplicate his 1,000 yard, 10 touchdown sophomore season, especially with the emergence of Marqise Lee.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (hamstring) out again for Week 14.

It's his second missed game in a row.The Jags will rely on Allen Robinson and Marqise Lee against the difficult Minnesota secondary.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns (hamstring) is out this Sunday against Denver.

Hurns has failed to make an impact on the stat sheet since his return from his concussion. He's safe to drop, especially considering if he does return in Week 14 it will be in an extremely tough matchup against Minnesota.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Hurns hauls in just one of seven targets in Week 12 loss.

The good news is he led the team in targets and his one catch was a 12-yard touchdown, but the bad news is that it's his third straight game with 12 or less yards receiving, and Marqise Lee continues to impress. Hurns shouldn't be rostered with a tough set of games coming up, including next week versus the Broncos.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Allen Hurns held to just one catch in Week 11.

He had one catch for nine yards one week after catching two passes for 13 yards. It’s probably safe to drop Hurns.

Allen Hurns | Free Agent WR

Hurns quiet in Week 10 loss.

He had two catches for 11 yards in the game. It was Hurns' quietest game of the season (excluding last week against KC when he was injured). He should bounce back against Detroit next week, but is hard to trust in your lineup. Keep him on the end of your bench or on the waiver wire.
