James White | Retired RB

James White handles just two touches in Week 15 win.

They were both through the air, as he caught two passes for just eight yards. White has operated as a clear third option in the backfield behind Dion Lewis and Rex Burkhead, but an injury to Burkhead might open up playing time for him in the fantasy championship. Still, he’s just a FLEX option in PPR leagues next week against the Bills.

Dwayne Allen | Free Agent TE

Dwayne Allen caught a 10-yard pass in Sunday’s win over Pittsburgh.

It was his only reception of the game, but it went for a first down. Allen isn’t a fantasy option with Rob Gronkowski healthy.

Danny Amendola | Retired WR

Danny Amendola held in check as Patriots top Steelers, 27-24.

Amendola caught two passes for 23 yards in the thrilling victory. He will look to be better in Week 16 against Buffalo, but there are probably better options for the fantasy championship. Amendola will probably play his best football when the Patriots reach elimination games in January.

12/18/17 - 03:12 PM ET

Brandin Cooks | Saints WR

Brandin Cooks scores in win over the Steelers.

Cooks caught four passes for 60 yards, including a four-yard touchdown reception. New England’s dynamic deep threat struggled a little bit with man-t0-man coverage for the third-straight week, but Tom Brady was able to fit the ball in a tight window on the touchdown pass, and also hit him for a 43-yard gain early in the game. Cooks will probably be more of a WR2 against Tre’Davious White’s sticky coverage on Christmas Eve, but it’s difficult to bench him in the fantasy championship.

12/18/17 - 03:09 PM ET

Jared Goff | Lions QB

Jared Goff throws two touchdowns in Rams’ blowout victory over Seattle.

Los Angeles absolutely dominated the Seahawks in Seattle in this one, so the second-year quarterback didn’t need to have a huge game in the win. Goff was 14/21 for 120 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The scores were to Todd Gurley and Robert Woods, both in the red zone. On Christmas Eve against the Titans, Goff is in the QB1 conversation.

12/18/17 - 03:08 PM ET

Vernon Davis | Retired TE

Vernon Davis struggles in win over the Cardinals.

Davis caught two passes for 18 yards, losing a fumble on one of his receptions. The veteran tight end has fallen off in the second half of the season, so he will be difficult to trust in the fantasy championship, even in a good matchup with Denver next Sunday.

12/18/17 - 02:51 PM ET

Rob Gronkowski | Retired TE

Rob Gronkowski can’t be contained in heart-pounding 27-24 win over Pittsburgh.

Gronkowski caught nine passes for 168 yards, with almost off of his damage coming in the second half. He was the key on the final drive for New England, as the Steelers had no answer for him over the middle and on the two-point conversion. Gronk said after the game that his body feels great, and fantasy owners can count on him as the top tight end for the final two weeks of the season because unless the Steelers lose in Week 16, the Patriots can’t rest their starters.
