Blake Bortles | Retired QB

Blake Bortles stays hot in Jaguars’ win.

Bortles kept it going from his great Week 14 win over Seattle, playing an excellent game against the Texans to help Jacksonville clinch its first playoff berth since 2007. Bortles was 21/29 for 326 yards and three touchdowns in the win. All three touchdowns came deep in Texans territory (one to Keelan Cole and two to Jaydon Mickens), but he also had a couple of big plays of 73 yards and 41 yards in the victory. Over the last four games, Bortles is averaging an elite 22.3 fantasy points per game. There is some risk in trusting Bortles in fantasy lineups, but he’s worth QB1 consideration against the 49ers in Week 16.

Larry Fitzgerald | Cardinals WR

Larry Fitzgerald caught five passes for 60 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins.

Fitzgerald had a chance to catch a pass on fourth down to keep the potential game-winning drive alive for Arizona, but it was a poorly thrown ball with two defenders around him. The Cardinals will look to get a win on Christmas Eve against the Giants, and Fitz will be a low-end WR2/FLEX option in standard leagues with a boost in PPR formats.

Elijhaa Penny | Giants RB

Elijhaa Penny rushed 10 times for 45 yards in Sunday’s loss to Washington.

Penny had just five carries for 15 yards entering Week 15, so this was easily his largest workload as a pro. The undrafted rookie should continue to split work with Kerwynn Williams over the final two weeks of the season, but he won’t be a recommended fantasy option.

Stephen Anderson | Free Agent TE

Stephen Anderson doesn’t catch a pass in Week 15.

With Tom Savage out of the lineup, Anderson isn’t a recommended fantasy option even in deeper leagues.

Kerwynn Williams | Saints RB

Kerwynn Williams leads backfield in Week 15 loss.

Williams rushed 17 times f0r 61 yards, as he got the start with Adrian Peterson (neck) placed on IR. The 26-year-old split work with Elijhaa Penny (10 carries for 45 yards), and that should be the case again in Week 16 when Arizona host the Giants. Williams is just a decent FLEX play.

12/18/17 - 02:23 PM ET

Will Fuller | Free Agent WR

Will Fuller V catches all five targets in Week 15.

Matched up with a great Jaguars secondary, this was a solid performance for the second-year receiver, as he made the most of his opportunities. Fuller had five receptions for 44 yards in the loss to Jacksonville. Next week he has a matchup with a Steelers team that’s given up some big plays in the passing game as of late, so Fuller is in FLEX consideration in the first week of fantasy championships.

12/18/17 - 02:21 PM ET

Blaine Gabbert | Free Agent QB

Blaine Gabbert has worst game as a Cardinal in loss to the Redskins.

Gabbert was 16/41 for 189 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. He also had six carries for 28 yards and fumbled three times, losing one of them. Arizona had to settle for five field goals in a 20-15 loss, but despite the struggles, they had a chance to win it at the end before failing to converting a fourth down in Redskins territory. Gabbert will look to bounce back against the Giants on Christmas Eve, but he shouldn’t be trusted in the fantasy championship.
