Olsen caught nine passes for 116 yards, including a 30-yard touchdown for his first score of the season. The 32-year-old had been battling foot discomfort since returning from IR, but fantasy owners that stuck with him were rewarded on Sunday. Olsen still carries some risk, but it will be difficult to bench him on Christmas Eve against Tampa Bay.

Jonathan Stewart rushed 11 times for 27 yards in win over Green Bay.
He also caught a nine-yard pass. Stewart went off against Minnesota in Week 14, but the Panthers mostly relied on Christian McCaffrey and Cam Newton with the Packers coming to town. The veteran back won’t be much more than a touchdown-dependent FLEX option against the Buccaneers on Christmas Eve.
12/18/17 - 12:30 PM ET
Christian McCaffrey handles 18 touches in win over the Packers.
McCaffrey rushed 12 times for 63 yards, adding six receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown in the 31-24 victory. Carolina’s first-round pick took a backseat to Jonathan Stewart last week, but he was the man in this one with 136 total yards. Look for him to stay hot against Tampa Bay on Christmas Eve, as McCaffrey is averaging 5.0 yards per carry over the past two months. He’s an RB1/RB2 in standard leagues and a solid RB1 in PPR leagues.

Cam Newton tosses four touchdowns in 31-24 win over the Packers.
Newton was 20/31 for 242 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He also rushed 14 times for 58 yards. The first touchdown was a seven-yard throw to Christian McCaffrey over the middle, and the other three came in the second half, with a 30-yarder to Greg Olsen and two red-zone scores to Damiere Byrd. Overall, Newton was excellent in a huge home win, and for all his early-season struggles, he now has 21 touchdown passes on the season and has thrown just one interception in November and December. Cam will be an elite, high-upside QB1 on Christmas Eve against the Bucs.

Jay Cutler throws three interceptions in Dolphins’ loss.
Cutler had been playing well lately, but he struggled a bit in this one against Buffalo. The veteran quarterback was 28/49 for 274 yards and three interceptions along with two carries for eight yards and four fumbles (though all were recovered by Miami). The Bills did a great job of getting pressure on Cutler, which made him uncomfortable and led to some errant throws. Cutler should bounce back next week, but he’s hard to trust in fantasy lineups against a Chiefs defense that could be on the upswing.
12/18/17 - 12:20 PM ET
Jordy Nelson held in check as Packers fall t0 7-7.
Nelson caught just three passes for 28 yards in Aaron Rodgers’ return. He was able to get behind the defense for a would-be deep touchdown, but Rodgers uncharacteristically didn’t put enough air on the pass and it was intercepted. Jordy should bounce back on Saturday night against the Vikings if Rodgers stays in the lineup, but a Falcons win on Monday night would eliminate the Packers from playoff contention. Also, Davante Adams being out would mean Xavier Rhodes shadowing Nelson.
12/18/17 - 12:20 PM ET
Geronimo Allison caught five passes for 33 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Panthers.
Allison was forced into a bigger role after Davante Adams went down, but he made a crucial mistake with Green Bay down 31-24 and driving, as a lost fumble ended the game and possibly their playoff hopes. Whether or not Adams is back in Week 16, Allison wouldn’t be a recommended fantasy play against the Vikings.
