Join now >The Packers are signing Jake Dolegala.
Dolegala had a tryout with the Packers during minicamp, and he earned a spot on the roster. The 2019 undrafted quarterback will help round out the quarterback group for Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers continuing his holdout.

The Eagles have waived Khalil Tate.
Philadelphia signed Michael Walker as depth at receiver, so Tate is headed to waivers in essentially a corresponding move. The former Arizona Wildcats quarterback could be headed elsewhere after spending 2020 with the Eagles.

The Eagles have waived Jamie Newman.
This is obviously not a good sign at all for the undrafted rookie (especially considering he opted out of the 2020 college football season in order to prepare for the draft), but Newman will hope for another shot soon. Philadelphia will almost certainly bring in another quarterback soon.

The Eagles are signing Michael Walker.
Walker—who didn’t play last season after spending 2019 with the Jaguars—will get a shot in Philadelphia, which has a fairly open depth chart behind DeVonta Smith and Jalen Reagor. The 24-year-old did catch a pass in Jacksonville, but he contributed in the return game.

Calvin Ridley underwent minor foot surgery, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The procedure was described as a “cleanup,” but it’s still obviously something to monitor throughout the summer—although Ridley is expected to be ready for training camp. With Julio Jones now in Tennessee, the Falcons will really be relying on Ridley to be their top offensive weapon, and we think he is more than ready for the challenge.

Aaron Rodgers is officially holding out.
This was fully expected for a while now, and the Packers now have the right to fine their star quarterback and reigning league MVP for not attending mandatory minicamp. Those fines would almost certainly be waived if the two sides can somehow make things right and move forward for at least the 2021 season, but the situation remains very much up in the air to begin the summer. Second-year quarterback Jordan Love will handle valuable first-team reps while Rodgers is away.

The Ravens signed Gus Edwards to a two-year extension.
Edwards is getting $10 million over the two years of the extension, so this is a very nice payday for the former undrafted free agent—and it indicates that Baltimore intends to use the bruising runner quite a bit over the next few seasons. This keeps Edwards with the Ravens through the 2023 season.
