Join now >Jack Doyle gets eight targets against the Broncos.
Doyle worked as a reliable underneath target for Jacoby Brissett throughout the night, catching seven passes for 47 yards in the Week 15 loss. Doyle will remain in the backend TE1 discussion next week against Baltimore, with a boost in PPR leagues.

Joe Mixon remains in concussion protocol.
This isn’t a good sign, as Mixon suffered his concussion two Mondays ago and guys are typically cleared by now. Hopefully the rookie running back is feeling better soon, but for now consider him questionable at best for Week 15.

Melvin Gordon scores in Week 15.
Gordon was a big-time workhorse against the Chiefs, carrying 19 times for 78 rushing yards and a touchdown while adding six receptions (on eight targets) for 91 receiving yards. Gordon pretty much carried the offense in a game they otherwise didn’t do much in, as he led the team in both receiving and rushing and made good things happen with the ball—including his long play of the game on a short catch that he took 49 yards and nearly scored on before slipping on a juke down the field, setting up an eventual ten-yard touchdown by Antonio Gates. Gordon’s score came on a carry by the goal line. He’s an obvious RB1 for the first week of the fantasy championship on Christmas Eve against the Jets.

Jordan Reed (hamstring) has been placed on Injured Reserve.
Reed’s disappointing injury-riddled season is now officially over. The Pro Bowl tight end appeared in only six games, catching 27 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. His reception total, yardage total, and yards per reception (7.8) were all career-lows. Frankly, the Redskins might decide to part ways with Reed if they can’t rely on him being on the field, but he’ll probably be back with Washington in 2018. Reed will carry obvious risk in fantasy drafts next year, but he also has a lot of upside and could end up being a steal, as he’ll certainly be rated a lot lower than his ADP of around 50 overall this preseason.

Chester Rogers doesn’t catch a pass in Week 15.
Rogers was targeted three times in the passing game, with a couple of targets coming on quick slant routes over the middle. One was nearly intercepted and the other went off a diving Rogers’ hands. Rogers did have a seven-yard carry in the game, but he’s not on the fantasy radar.

Leonard Fournette (quadricep) did not practice today.
It’s only the first practice of the week and there is no reason to be alarmed. The rookie running back has been nicked this season, which is a slight concern for his long-term outlook because he’s such a physical runner, but he should be fine. Expect Fournette to be back out at practice in at least a limited capacity tomorrow.

Alex Smith, Chiefs take control of AFC West with Saturday night win over the Chargers.
Smith was 23/30 for 231 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also rushed three times for 13 yards in the 30-13 victory. Both offenses were contained in the first half besides a 64-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill, but Kansas City was able to get going behind Kareem Hunt over the final 30 minutes to pickup a huge win. Smith’s other touchdown went to Hunt, and he almost had a third that Hunt couldn’t corral in the end zone. Despite the midseason struggles, the Chiefs are going to be a dangerous team if they make it to the playoffs, and Smith is playing like a legitimate MVP candidate. He will be a solid QB1 for Week 16 against the Dolphins.
