Join now >James White scores in Patriots’ loss.
White was targeted four times against the Dolphins, catching three passes for 11 yards and a touchdown. The score came on a pass to the flat after a handoff was faked to him and he kept rolling out of the backfield to get open. White’s role has decreased a bit, as Rex Burkhead and Dion Lewis are getting more work in the passing game, but he’s still a big-time real-life contributor for the Patriots. He does carry risk in fantasy lineups and has a low floor, though.

Broncos feed C.J. Anderson in Thursday night win.
Anderson was handed 30 carries against the Colts, gaining 158 rushing yards in the Week 15 victory. This was by far a season-high in yardage for Anderson, who ran for 100 yards for the seventh time in his career (all Broncos wins). Denver would be wise to rely on the run game like they did tonight if they want to pick up a couple more wins to carry some momentum into the offseason. Anderson will be a FLEX option in Week 16 against the Redskins.

Xavien Howard erases Brandin Cooks in Week 14.
Cooks could not do much of anything in tonight’s loss against the Dolphins, as he was targeted seven times and caught one pass for 38 yards. The reception came late in the game, and Howard had two interceptions before that. Tom Brady looked Cooks’ way, but they just couldn’t get anything going against the second-year corner. For Week 15, look for Cooks to have a major bounce back against a Steelers team that’s given up a ton of big plays in the passing game this season.

Daniel Brown caught three passes for 32 yards in Saturday’s loss to Detroit.
Despite rookie Adam Shaheen being inactive, Brown wasn’t a factor until late in the game. The 25-year-old might be a deep-and-desperate option against Cleveland on Christmas Eve, but there are almost certainly safer plays for the fantasy championship.

Danny Amendola leads the Patriots in receiving against the Dolphins.
Amendola received a team-high nine targets in the Week 14 loss, gaining 76 yards on his six receptions. With the Patriots down, no Rob Gronkowski because of a suspension, and Brandin Cooks basically getting taken out of the game by Xavien Howard, Brady looked Amendola’s way to make plays. He’ll have some upside next week against the Steelers, but there are probably better options out there for fantasy lineups.

Rex Burkhead scores again in Patriots’ loss.
Burkhead was very involved in the passing game early in the game, as he caught all his passes in the first half, and he punched in a goal line carry for a touchdown in the second quarter; but Burkhead wasn’t very involved in the second half for New England. Overall, Burkhead had five carries for eight yards and a touchdown along with five receptions (on five targets) for 45 yards. The goal-line score was on a play where Burkhead showed great cutting ability to slice through a defender on his way across the plain. With five touchdowns over the last three games, Burkhead is a strong fantasy option for Week 15 against the Steelers.

Dion Lewis gets ten touches in Week 14.
Lewis had five carries for 17 yards and five receptions (on five targets) for 50 yards against the Dolphins. The highlight of the night for New England was on a great one-handed catch on a wheel-type of route after Tom Brady was pressured and laid out a perfect pass. The Patriots might want to run the ball more next week versus Pittsburgh (they had only ten attempts tonight), but either way Lewis will be a solid option in fantasy lineups.
